Following on from yesterdays accident on The Smiler Alton Towers has taken the decision to extend the park closure to now include (tomorrow) the 4th of June 2015.
As construction begins to wrap up the final finishing touches are now being built on the world first 14 inversion roller coaster. These photos were taken by Rob!

With track complete the construction seems to hit a snag when some of the supports don’t seem long enough, resulting in some on-site bodging. Theming and queue line continue to be installed as well.
In today’s update we take a look at the testing which has now begun on The Marmaliser screens, the completed lift hills and other new theming touches.
