Seeing out the 2019 season..
We’ll be seeing out the season in style with our usual Fireworks Meet. 2019 sees a very welcome return to 3 days of Fireworks on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. As many will be attending on all of the days, this event will be a 3 day meet. Join us for some final dark rides as we say goodbye to the 2019 season!
When and where?
Friday 8th November
Many will only be attending for the evening to watch the fireworks. Meeting point will be 5pm at the Welcom-Inn (Tavern), although if you arrive later we’ll be on our usual spot on the raised area at the bottom of Towers Street.
Saturday 9th November
Full day at Alton Towers, meet at 10am Ma Garritas Bar, Splash Landings Hotel.
Sunday 10th November
Full day at Alton Towers, meet at 11am outside Box Office.
Accommodation
Accommodation will be at the Alton Towers resort. Prices are around £50 per person based on 4 sharing for 2 nights in Splash Landings (Friday and Saturday) for those with a Merlin Annual Pass. Please note the Alton Towers Hotel is not available for booking over the meet weekend, so availability it more limited than usual. Enchanted Village, Cbeebies and Splash Landings are the only hotels with availability.
There are also options in the local area, just remember you may need to factor in pre0booking costs for Fireworks entry (Details to be confirmed) and potential traffic problems exiting the park.
