A number of members have contributed to a list of theme park documentaries. If you know of any others from any theme parks in the world, please post in this thread and I will update the wiki page. :)

17 internets and a chocolate chip cookie to @Rowe for providing the links to most of the documentaries and making the wiki page look lovely.

There's a handful of theme park documentaries knocking about on t'internet from different theme parks, I was wondering if anyone could add to the list.

Alton Towers

The Magic Factory
• The Story of Alton Towers
Park Life
• Blue Peter videos.
• Marketing a Theme Park - Alton Towers [Pt1] [Pt2]

Other Parks

• A Day out at Thorpe Park (Dunno if that's the real name or not.)
Themes, Dreams and Scream Machines
Walt Disney World: A Dream Come True
• Pleasure Beach (6 part series) [Ep1] [Ep2] [Ep3] [Ep4] [Ep5] [Ep6]
Walt Disney World: A Dream Come True
Build It Bigger: Coaster Build Off
DVD Making of "ARTHUR - Im Königreich der Minimoys"
Shoot for the Moon

There must be more out there, and I love watching them, so can anyone inform?

The 1997 Pleasure Beach documentaries are a treat, showcasing Mandy at her best and full of legendary quotes. ("I'll bash yer 'ed in!")

Shouldn't this topic be in the Box Office? :p

Oh yes, the 6 part TV series!

Mods, can you move this please?

Just moved this to Other Parks and Attractions as it's all theme parks :)

Should be interesting to see what other documentaries come up. I'll have a think of some I've seen when I get chance

There're plenty of construction documentaries about coasters from the Discovery channel. I think most of their major series have had a coaster episode!

There is a great documentary from 1986 on the development of Walt Disney World; a must watch:

:)

Done a bit of editing of your original post Tom.B to include any links to Youtube for the shows :). Will try and keep it updated as and when stuff is added. Feel free to hit the report button on the post to give the team a kick if we don't get updated a day or two after being posted :).

OK, thanks Craig. :)

I'll update my initial post each time a new documentary is mentioned.

Am I the only one who would like to see a modern day documentary done behind the scenes at Merlin?

There's this one detailing the construction of The Voyage and Griffon. (I think, I can't tell, I'm at uni with no sound, someone let me know if I'm wrong and Craig will change my post ;) )

It (a M3rlin Documentary) would probably more-so resemble 'The Wolf Of Wall Street' than a theme park documentary. Fat shareholders w*nking over the prospect of having a 'midway' on every street corner. All sucking each other patting each other on the back after taking the last £10 off a family for a Smiler fastrack

Shoot for The Moon

A brilliant BBC documentary into the Imagineering and construction process behind Paris' Space Mountain. It's a fascinating watch, and one of my personal favourites :)

ALL THE DOCUMENTARIES

Really cannot be bothered to add ALL of those to my original post, so I've created a wiki page for them. As it stands, the page is a little empty, so if someone has the time to edit the page with the documentaries, that would be lurvely. Alternatively, I will get it done... some time. :D
