Old Merchandise

I found these on my old laptop the other day. I still have the bag but as you can imagine it is full of holes. I added a lot more pins...it never occurred to me that I might want to preserve it. It was a really good bag, fully waterproof. I've never found one as good! Cost £10 and bought on my 13th birthday so 14 years ago!

Just found this whilst clearing out old stuff... no idea when it's from or if anybody else has posted it already.

Fairly chuffed with it tbf.

Its about 1988 they did 2 buses another van a matchbox bus with the writing on the side said
Britain's answer to Disney.
They also did a 1993 yellow van where wonders never cease.
And in 1994 they did a Haunted house van and a white van with the costume character of Bunbury the wizard. Hope this helps

Does anyone have any money they no longer need or want?

HA you naughty man, lets welcome our new enthusiast.

Sorry SamTP I personally do not - if you look on eBay etc then quite often they do come up, and perhaps some members may have some, because some people take several of the same. But I just wouldnt expect them to donate them to someone so new.

I have an old Haunted House keyring that is the shape of a blue key and says my name on. I keep trying to find it as I'm packing but no success.

;)

I wouldn't usually be so naughty but it did seem a bit of a cheek (apologies if it was unintended) to just turn up and make one post, with no self introduction to the forum or anything, and just ask people for potentially quite valuable stuff, then make no further effort to get involved in the forum.

:)

Oh I know, thats why I laughed at it.

Anyway, got any freebies?

Actually, if you could post your 2013 park map that'd be good.

Planning on keeping a billion of them, saving for my retirement y'see.

I've got a hoard of theme park maps on top of my wardrobe, probably from 2005 ish 'til the present day. Will sell 'em off in about 50 years time! :p

I'm looking forward to 50 years time when you see 70 "rare" 2008 theme park maps go for sale. :p

Theme park maps will never be rare, or valuable for that matter, but who knows, maybe in ten years time some enthusiast somewhere will be willing to pay a few quid in a map from the year the Smiler opened. I've seen stupider stuff on Ebay sell!

I'll admit I do have a rather large envelope in my wardrobe full of various bits of theme park stuff, but I keep it for prosperity/out of sheer geekyness. I never expect to make anything off it and that includes all the manufacturer catalogues I got from IAAPA and the Disney Cast exclusive stuff. Ain't nobody's getting their hands on my glossy B&M product guide :p

It was more of a joke tbh. I've found a collection of turnstile tickets in my wallet (about 11), which I think I'm gonna stick below my merch shelf. Most of which are the same art on the front.

If anyone wants to swap some (how sad?), I have 4 which I'm willing to:

  • Artwork: RETURN TICKET Come back tomorrow for just £5.00. Details: AT Admission ticket for a school trip. £12. 16/10/13
  • Artwork: The Smiler New for 2013. Details: Terror of the Towers and The Sanctuary combined ticket, UNUSED! £10. 26/10/13.
  • Artwork: Come back from just £6. Details: AT Admission ticket. Tesco guest promo. 18/10/11.
  • Artwork: The Swarm Details: Thorpe Park Tesco 1 day entry. 19/10/12.

I'm only swapping them though :)P) so if you're interested, just PM me. ;D

I don't suppose anyone remembers (or maybe even has) a wall poster from circa 1995-1996?

It would have been the size of your average large poster, with the Towers logo in the middle and various rides depicted around it. It was more illustration based than photo based, as I remember there being a silhouette of the Nemesis loop in the top right corner.

Kicking myself that I never kept it and have had no luck in sourcing its existence!
