league wise, Barca have hit a bit of a wall, but they are always dominant in the champions league, where as Athletico seem to grind out results in the champs league. Barca will sail through this draw....

It's tough being a Forest fan sometimes :/

Davies has paid the price for being a first class c*ck with the media, damaging the clubs reputation! I hear that Natalie Jackson of East Midlands Today is in tears over the news! :p

I can't even say otherwise. He's a dick in that respect.

I do however have to question the mentality of the owners. Granted, performances haven't been going our way recently but is it worth it this late in the season? We're two points out the playoffs which isn't the end of the world (we were never going to go up automatic.) Plus the fact he is on a five year contract means we will have to buy him out of that. I'm thinking there's been some sort of trouble in the background. Shame as I liked him :/

If the unlikely event that Uruguay are barred from competing in the World Cup occurs, I'd be very interested to know what would happen to Group D. Would Jordan, the team defeated by Uruguay during the qualification phase, take that place instead of them? Would it be given to another team? Or would Uruguay be deemed to have forfeited their matches and automatically finish bottom of the group?

Well I certainly wasn't expecting to be going to München still in the tie. A fantastic effort from United tonight. No shame in playing on the counter against a team like Bayern and with Bastian and Martinez now missing for the return leg, it could be interesting.

There is hope!

So Leicester have been promoted to the Premier league... we've got no chance.

No chance!? We've got every chance of staying up next year!

It's been 10 years in the waiting, some horrible moments but also some great ones. Finally we have what we deserve. I love Nigel Pearson!

;D

Hughton is out!

Replaced by Neil Adams

Seems like a mad decision to sack a manager with just 5 games to go. If Fulham beat Norwich now then I think they are down. It's been pointed out that the statement says Norwich have lost 4 in 6; so have Spurs, Newcastle, West Ham, Hull, Villa, Fulham, Cardiff & Sunderland.

Football is mad at times!

:)

It's not just that though - it's our pitiful away form and the fact that we needed results in the last few games to guarantee our safety yet we haven't managed it.

It's a weird one and definitely should have been done sooner. I just see it as the board have lost all confidence in Hughton and now see the only option as hoping that the team pick up and bounce back without him - as does sometimes happen when your manager leaves and you have the freedom to play in a different style.

Naturally disappointed to go out but it wasn't unexpected. Although Evra's goal was fantastic, defensively he let us down.

There's always next season.....oohhhhhh. :( :(

*cough* ;)

Cracking semi-final line up!

:)

Hopefully it's evra's last season. Goal aside, he was the weak link tonight. (Carrick didn't start well either.) I thought throughout that robben was the main threat. Mark him out of the game then you would think? No, he was left acres of space throughout. Surely Moyes realises this. It's like bale last night. He wasn't even in the game because of the right marking. I guess that isn't his 'style' but it is proven to work. As much as I'm disappointed, I don't feel we went out on a low, it was a champions league worthy performance. Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton, spurs, and even city have not shown that for centuries. IMHO anyway.
