RCT4M- New RCT Mobile Game?

Just gonna Say F you Atari you have lost your edge your complete bottom this PC version better be good or i will lose my temper and never play rct ever again #RANT OVER

A new proper RCT game by this autumn...

Nah, not going to happen. Not unless they've been secretly developing it for years.

Plus if it looks like the mobile version I'd rather just play the original 3.

Oh yes! RCT4! Hope it has the graphics of three but operates how one and two did, they ran so much smoother! Can't wait for this! Finally a decent version for mobile as well. :)

you hope for the graphics of three? Way to aim low ;)

Haha, RCT3's graphics weren't that bad, i liked the cartoonish feel of the whole game.

What are Atari playing at? They've pretty much ignored all the RCT fans for years and they're "rewarding" us with some crap mobile game that will no doubtly be awful. As for the PC game, we'll have to wait until we get a bit more information on it, but chances are it will probably be a disappointment. :(

No RCT3 looks very very bad by today's standards, . If they are aiming at that level for a new game, or anyone is happy with that, then I'm dissapointed.

They want money, the production costs of that tacky mobile game versus the profit they will get means it is much more financially viable.

We still have *some* hope...

Looks like they're still calling the PC version an "experience". Not really sure what that means but at least they've cleared it up that they are two completely different games.

Still sounds like it will be some online game or Facebook game. If they were developing a fully blown game then it would have leaked a very long time ago.

According to Now Gamer, the PC version won't be a Facebook game but will an online multiplayer experience.

In my opinion, I think it will be similar to Simcity 5. You choose a region and then choose a space of land in the region to build your own park. Your friends can join you in the same region, but building their own different park in a different space of land. You can then help eachother, visit eachother's parks and so on.

We'll have to wait and see! :)

So Chris Sawyer is involved and it will be different to the mobile game and not involving Facebook. All positive messages so far...

I think that if it became like SimCity (but without the server issues) it could become fantastic - particularly with communities like this.

Imagine a networked chain of TS parks :p

I have one real concern with this idea. How would all the developers and users go about with custom content and rides? Surely if different users are to be able to access the same parks online they will be limited to the generic stock objects which are available to all users.

Hmmm... Personally I'd be surprised if it's even something remotely near the levels of SimCity, even in concept. If it is then they've done a damn good job of keeping it under the radar. If it was anything substantial I'm sure we'd have heard about it by now.

I'll reserve my doubts, but I think it's highly unlikely that we will be seeing something to replace RCT3 any time soon. Just because it isn't actually linked to Facebook doesn't mean it can't essentially be a Facebook style game :p

Could be very interesting, CS and CTR issues aside. TS linked parks would be epic.

Imagine 31 magical worlds linked by a comm- hang on, think that line has already been used ;)

PC experience doesn't sound promising in my opinion sounds like others say an online game. But an experience could also hint to the Oculus Rift which are very good I've had a go of a rendition of Mount snowdon . I already know a roller coaster scenario exists. Very unlikely though. :/

Edit- Didn't read the latest posts oops.

Roller Coaster Tycoon posted this on facebook yesterday:

Hi Fans,
It has been a long time since a new RollerCoaster Tycoon® game has been released and we are excited to bring the series to iOS and Android devices! RollerCoaster Tycoon® 4 Mobile™ will be the first time social and online features including Facebook and Game Center compatibility will be part of the game.
We believe a mobile version of the RCT franchise is a great way to extend the series onto new platforms and can’t wait to release the game.
We would like to offer you a new RCT experience that lets you play anywhere, anyhow.
At the same time, we are opening our Facebook page to collect all your feedback and get the best input for the premium PC game that is currently in production.
We are here, talk to us! Thanks!

Ha, looks like they want to know what the long time, hardcore RCT fans want for the new game!

Its a bit rubbish, but to pass 5/10 minutes on the bus I guess its not the end of the world.

Not really worth £2, as all it does it give you $5 of "Magic" Tickets which can be used to build rollercoasters. Yes, if you want a custom coaster, you have to use the in game currency.

On the plus side, I am currently sitting on 70 Tickets, and once you build a custom coaster, you can move it and rebuild it.

Its fiddly on an iPhone 5S, but better on a iPad.

First 15 minutes play through.
