£49.20

It is shocking, but at least it could be argued to be worth at least a portion of that. Not forgetting that a good 70%+ of walk up piggybanks guests use BOGOFs, so the cost to them is £25.

Unlike FlamingmingerLand, at £35 for anybody 4 years and up :p

Are you telling me that people ACTUALLY pay on the gate, and pay full price?!

I said around 2012 that it will be £50 in 2015. Well I was close.

the bog off offer has changed tho now to buy one get the second half price so entry for two is closer to the 70 pound mark bot good

I guess it will depend on their gate figures for the year, if they stop needing people through the gates, they can do these rises and get more money for less resource.

It's clever, scandalous, but clever.

Really? I never use the Merlin BOGOFs because I have an annual pass, but if they've changed them that's a really bad thing. The parks are overpriced as it is, guarantee that attendance will go down now.

That could just be a different offer they're doing with certain brands maybe? I'm sure there will still be plenty of BOGOFs around. Changing it completely to buy one get one half price would be a very dangerous and risky move to make.

:)

Sure you haven't seen the half price vouchers on crisps and washing products? :)

It's simply a half price voucher rather than a buy one get one.

don't know about the cerial boxes but definatley on the back of my water bottle its clearly written you have to have a full paying adult then the second ticket is half price i would also waver there will be a price hike in annual passes however would this mean less waiting times for rides for those of us with annual passes and cash

Cheaper than Thorpe Park...

Cheaper than another Merlin park isn't really saying much! It's like saying a house in central London is cheaper than a house in Manhattan (I don't know if that is true or not though!).

:)

Half Price on the rear of Goodfellows pizza as well.

Yes its expensive, stupidly expensive when also having to factor in £6 to park your car (so in effect, it is over £50). BOGOF vouchers are essential for families and couples.

However..... I went to the Hyde Park winter wonderland last winter, the prices there for the rides was stupid. I could have quite easily spent the admission price for a day in Alton Towers in just an hour in Hyde Park if i wanted to do all the rides there, so I guess that puts it into perspective!
