2015: Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure

I'm guessing that the rollercoaster will have be partitioned, i.e. at a 'dead end' of Cbeebies Land?
Should mean guest flow will be quite interesting in the corner behind Treetop...

It is less than ideal.

In truth, Sonic Spinball needs to either be removed in order for CBeebies Land to properly take over the entire area of the park...

As it stands, Sonic is awkwardly placed and means that the lower end of CBL is dwarfed by the noises of Sonic.

I think we all most all agree Sonic is not going to be there much longer, maybe they will move it next closed season and expand Cbeebies land even more

Well why don't the keep spin ball re theme it again and throw in a couple of flats you could make a pretty decent CBBC area for the kids who are to old for Cbeebies but too young for the larger rides

With the addition of the Octonauts coaster, 'a couple of flats' would hardly fit in the area around Spinball. Adventureland is beyond being expanded now and foreseeably can only be included in the CBeebies area.

Would have been nice to have seen Spinball gone this season with a kids flat or two and another grassed seating area in its place for CBeebies Land.

They could remove the hospitality marquee to make more CBeebies space if needed. Hospitality could be done inside the towers instead, especially with the new conservatory area.

Also I wouldn't add another grassed area for CBeebies shows, another indoor theatre would make a lot more sense as gives better options for the Winter

It's not clear at all but you can just about make out the coaster being built in this photo from Tatenhill Aviation:

Perspective can be difficult to observe, particularly from that sort of angle. I'd argue that lift hill however looks like it reaches the rooftop height or even higher, than Get Set Go's station building. That's taller than I expected.

It seems to have a very similar layout to the mini apple. Lift followed by a load of mini humps. Obviously the ride isn't finished yet, so anything could happen layout wise.

It could be possible to remove some of the wall to the big fun show time area to link in with the new coaster. That way it wouldn't be such a dead end. However I am sure in the long run Sonic will be removed/put elsewhere, and that whole area will become part of CBeebies Land, I can't see that happening for a few years yet though. Maybe 2017 or 2018.

I'd expect, or hope the park would look to have a decent family coaster/thrill ride replacement in place before they remove Spinball - but that said, it's not unlike Towers to leave gaping holes in their line up!

Spinball could well go in 2017 to help push through SW8. Complete guess though!

:)
