I have just tried to understand, or find the relevant conditions etc, alas you lot are better at me than this so I will just say WOO!

The Applicant is advised that the floor area of the proposed development subject of this permission (gross 2,807sqm, net 2,675sqm), will be deducted from the total possible floor area for development on the site allowed by the MTDP 2010-2016 (RU.10/0579) of 5,000sqm. For record purposes, the tally to date is as follows:
RU.11/0101 (buildings associated with Swarm Rollercoaster) - 981sqm
RU.13/1062 (extension to Mexican Cantina restaurant) - 71.3sqm
RU.14/0053 (dodgems ride kiosk) - 8sqm
RU.14/0146 (extension to Stealth diner) - 157.3sqm
RU.14/0160 (small retail kiosk for Stealth ride) - 19.9sqm
RU.14/1345 (Extension to Pizza Hut restaurant) - 179.3sqm
RU.14/1596 (current application) - 2675sqm

I noticed there were provisions for I think up to 8 "round rides" in the MTDP, it's in that document anyway, but this also reminds that the MTDP comes to it's end in 2016. Going to be interesting at that point to see what arises from TP in terms of the next stages of proposed developments.

To be honest i think its a ride exclusive for the hotel maybe a baby shark live show
 
Most likely shark themed, but it would be hilarious to see a repeat of the alien babies concept :') I have no idea what this is going to be, but I'm not getting my hopes up for anything good seeing as I haven't seen any planning applications for it. Heck, I'm not sure why I'm considering the idea of a ride - 'attraction' is most likely going to be a show of some kind?
 
Whatever it is, it's gonna be terrible. Were it anything worthwhile we would know more than we do just over a month before the start of the season. This is to be expected due to the huge 2016 development, but still a disappointment.

My guess? Something for babies.
 
My excitement for anything that Thorpe Park make has gone ever since when they originally announced Angry Birds Land.

It'll be Flying Fish rethemed to some terrible IP based on a fad and the job is done horribly.
