Mini Meet Thorpe Park: 14th March 2015

Getting a trip in before IAC opens. Shouldn't be too busy as it is early in the season.

Staying at Holiday Inn Express Heathrow T5 afterwards just to avoid long drive. May well call in to LEGOLAND for a few hours on Sunday morning as the park is open. Chessington is a no-go as it's AP preview weekends which are notoriously busy.

Hopefully see a few people there!

Meet at the park entrance at 9:30am - park open until 6:00pm.

Tempting, but I'm not sure if I'd rather go when IAC opens... Trying to weigh up queues for a new attraction or ride whoring :/

Not staying over as we're not that far :)
 
Due to a double booking I'm going to have to withdraw from this meet, will be at Thorpe for south meet though.

Funnily I consider it far at 2 hrs 17 minutes but yours is 2 hrs 9 minutes. Haha! I just felt really ill/drained last time I drove home in the dark from Thorpe :(

Oh how odd!! The drive to Towers and back is now a lot more draining than it used to be for me :(!

The hotel for anybody interested is Holiday Inn Express Heathrow T5. Rooms £44 and include breakfast. There's also a nice bar.

If anybody who doesn't drive wishes lifts between TP/hotel/LLW I am happy to help.
 
I said I'd check what I was up to when this was being discussed last weekend. Turns out I'd already booked myself to spend that Saturday playing trains, so I won't be able to attend sorry.
