You have 2 Votes so choose wisely, and it will be nice to see the result without oblivion and nemesis taking charge ;)
Also explain why you love them if you have the urge to

Wasn't sure if hex was classed as a flat ride but it's the best on there

Twirling Toadstool wins my vote as it blends family with thrill very well, has a good throughput, looks lovely and is just a generally nice ride.

I'd class Terry and Hex as 'Dark Rides' instead of Flats - but I voted for them both as I don't really like flat rides.

Marauders Mayhem deserves a mention, one of the best "teacups" rides in the UK

Hex and Sub Terra are both flat rides, however indoor with the queline however made more exiting as it allows you to watch video's and move into diffrent rooms.

Sub Tera- Drop Tower
Hex- To Be Honest I am not really sure, somewhat to a pirate ship i guess

Thus they are dark rides as they take place indoors. Though I guess they can be a hybrid genre. Hex is a Vekoma Madhouse - a ride-type made exclusively for dark rides as the concept would not work in the open air, therefore it is truly a dark and not a flat. Sub Terra could be argued in more depth as it is a drop tower, however the fact it is more than just the tower and is in fact a whole experience, I would class it as a dark ride and not a flat.

It's up to interpretation though.

Ripsaw and Enterprise would get my vote if Shed-Tezza and Hex were classified as dark rides...

Ripsaw only.

Hex and ST are dark rides for me, as has been said above (but I've just voted for both of them).

Hex and Terry are not flat-rides, they are dark-rides as the experience is indoors and depends on more than just the ride hardware for effect.

Therefore my vote is Ripsaw.... Say's something when the best flat-ride at Towers in many peoples eyes is 15 years old!

Kick the topic off again as the poll i showing us Submission and Blade are not currently satisfying the audiance, how could Alton Towers Improve these rides so they are up to the standard Ripsaw is?

someone actually voted for submission???

It really is shocking how the best flat is a 15y/o topspin!

Blade isn't that bad - the ones at LWV, Camelot and Legoland are far worse. It seems to be running a lot better than it did a couple of years ago at any rate.

Yeah i have not been on it in years, however i would just like to mention a seaside fairground in skegness hosts one of the best pirate ships i have ever been on, blade is nothing compared to that one, which is a real shame.

Enterprise.

I actually find it rather fun and I've never been particularly impressed with the cycles I've had on Ripsaw. Everything else is crap.

Never been on that because i'm afraid i will be sick because i'm never good with rides that spin :-X

Yeah same, it's one of the only non-kids rides that I've never been on. It just looks horrendous, especially the speed at which you are spun around.
