Hi all,

I've booked an overnight stay at AT for Friday 12th June for me and my daughter and I was wondering how busy the Saturday would be in the park?

I live in Essex so we'll head up on Friday morning and my plan was to do the water park on Friday (which should be dead as it's in school term) and then go to the park on Saturday. Obviously weather will be a fairly large factor but i just wanted to know before I thought about fastrack tickets. Any feedback would be a great help.

Saturdays naturally tend to be busy, and being June as well, if the weather is nice, yes, it would be a moderately busy day. I say moderately as it usually July/August when the queues are really stupid. Saying that, you may want to get some fast track tickets for a few rides, depends how patient you are! Smiler will have the biggest queue but I would leave this until very last thing rather than pay £10 each for a fastpass.

Spinball tends to have big queues as well due to low throughput. If you get the big rides out of the way as soon as possible in the morning.... Nemesis, Air, Thirteen, Rita, Oblivion etc, and leave Smiler until very last thing, you should be ok, but fastpasses may have to be an option if it is a very busy day unfortunately.

Have you bought your park tickets through the hotel? Just if you have, they are 2 day tickets, so you could also go in on the Friday...... And yes, the waterpark shouldnt be too busy - aim to get there for midday, leave your bags in the car and take a swimming bag in, should be nice and quiet before the majority of other guests arrive from 2pm onwards.

Awesome thanks for the advice Gary, it's pretty much what i expected.

We have MAPs so that's also another option if we get there early enough and do both the park and water park on the Friday!
