The Smiler just above Nemesis
It could be any ride, you never know Nemesis, Ripsaw,Oblivion. State below what ride you think will leave,be relocated or re themed next

I think the flume because it's dated and earmarked for removal you could fit 2 or three new rides in its space and alton towers have said their next major development is on the flume site or Katanga canyon on trip advisor as shown to me by @Ketz

I don't see any of the coasters going anywhere soon unless they have a monumental problem, rapids won't go yet, I reckon that, also I'm not trusting this trip advisor, there's apparently a cross valley coaster rumored that others will i'm sure mentioned more.

The Flume, Ripsaw and Blade's days are all numbered. I expect Sonic will be gone from its current location by the end of the decade also.

:)

'The flumes days are numbered...' - now where have a heard that before? :)

I want the flume to go because it's old and genuinely rubbish. Replace it with a better one.

But I think Sonic Spinball will be off soon. Definitely the next retheme at least.

for me the next ride to be removed will be the flume and replaced with an upgraded one. its so outdated and i usually miss it as to avoid getting wet. i think its a waste of time personally.

I think that Charlie will go because the intellectual property licence can't be far from running out and I can't see towers renewing in with the overall bad quality of the theming (can't you choose the book or the or the film) and the fact that most of the effects are turned of or broken. I like the lift section at the end though.

In regards to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. If the IP does run out and the license isn't renewed I can very much see Towers removing the theming specific to the IP and keeping the attraction as a tour around a chocolate factory, without the Charlie tag. In which case 90% of the theming could remain along with the elevators. I think that would be the cheapest possible solution without losing the attraction.

Without Blade or minor kiddy/family things, and exuding re-themes or relocations within the park, I think I'd offer you...

Ripsaw: 1.15
The Flume: 2.00
Sonic Spinball: 2.50
Enterprise: 2.50
Duel: 6.00
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 9.00
Nemesis Sub-Terra: 25.00
Rita 34.00
Runaway Mine Train 51.00
Hex 67.00
Oblivion 101.00

Well I'm certain blade will be the first to go, it's been on the chopping block for years and we nearly lost it this year.

Ripsaw will follow, with towers plans to remove all flats and the like and this ride being towards the end of its life, I can see it going 2016 or even the end of this year.

Flume needs to go, but I don't that'll happen for at least 2/3 more years after SW8 plus as mediocre as it is so far it's still popular and gets through1200 pph I think.

Spinball who knows, if CBeebies expands it could be going soon, but I don't know. Does anyone know when the sonic sponsor ends?

Surely every Theme Park should have a swinging Pirate Ship though? It's almost like a tradition! Plus it's one of those rides which adults and small children can enjoy.

Charlie is pretty pointless IMO, when i did a 2 day stay at Scarefest last year with my 10/yo daughter we didn't go on it once as she wasn't interested. If the revamped the 'Bubble Works' section and made it longer then that could maybe work.

I think Sonic is a great ride but defo should be re-themed.

A new longer, bigger flume would be welcome too IMO.

Hmm I don't think it would be that easy to keep "90% of the theming". Since a lot of the theming, particularly the entire exterior, is all in the artistic style of Roald Dahl's books and marketing. Surly all under the contract to be removed when the contract ends? They could keep a few bits of theming although I think they would have to remove so stuff bound to CATCF IP they may as well scrap everything and start over.

I hope when they get to the Charlie warehouse the lifts are removed too, or even relocated to another part of the warehouse. There's a heap of wasted space in that warehouse that could be used far more creatively if they just gutted it out and created something new. Given by next year we're at 10 years of the same thing I think it's time that building gets gutted.

We haven't had an end of season fire for a while... :p

We've still got one more Skyride station to go yet before we move on to anything else ;)

It's been established that the last Skyride station is too valuable to set on fire due to it being where all the skyride cars are based.
