There's now a green triangle in the corner of some profiles... I can only assume that it just signifies whether the user is online?
 
I'm pretty sure if you hover over it, it tells you what it means ;)

Just been on tapatalk (and yes, i really hate it, but it is easier sometimes) and all i get for this forum is a load of code. Is this actually because of a problem with towers street, or tapatalk?
 
We made a move to the site and forum using SSL last night, so you may need do carry out the instructions below to get things back up and running.

- If you're experiencing error messages, log out and log back into the forum in Tapatalk

That should resolve any issues. If you still spot anything after that though, please post in here with a description of what you were trying to do and screenshots/error messages if you could too please :).

Glad to hear it's back up and running :). If you're not a fan of Tapatalk, the forum is responsive so will show well on mobile - just won't get the notifications outside of your web browser.
 
I have some suggestions:

- Add the ability to embed tweets
- Add a 'Thanks' button to work like the 'Like' button, handy for when you want to give appreciation to someone who's answered a question.

In terms of embedding tweets considering how heavily they can be used in discussion now, so I'll look into whether we can do this with minimum fuss. Since we got the new forum we consciously try to minimise the amount of modifications we make to the forum to prevent issues. After a quick look though it should be possible so watch this space!

In terms of a thanks button, that's pretty much the purpose of the like button at present, so we'd only be duplicating and confusing things with any sort of thanks button :)
 
Long shot, I know, but is there any way of implimenting a feature that allows you to ignore (in the same way you can with members) whole topics?
There are a couple of threads that make me want to start shooting people, and it'd be much nicer for everyone if that didn't happen...

Why do you need to ignore a topic? Can't you just not watch it?

Don't know if it's possible, but what about alerts for the shoutbox? Saves me having to check it every 2 minutes to see if someone's replied so I can keep reading through a thread.
 
Because it still shows up under New Posts. And then, of course, I HAVE to read it. :p
