Does this post fit the general discussion?
Basically, I've developed these characters who are essentially human versions of the Alton Towers rides. They're mainly based around the theme and backstory of the ride, some of my examples are here...

Nemesis - An alien who crash landed into Earth and transformed into a human 20 year old woman to fit into society, who mainly want to kill her.

Oblivion - Olivia Blackburn - An experiment of the Ministry of Joy who is outspoken and joyful.

Air - Ariel Robinson - A quiet and shy girl who often imagines herself taking flight to escape life.

TH13TEEN - Thia Collins - A small girl who lives in the Dark Forest and can control vines.

Rita - Rita Palmer - A cocky and vain young woman with good looks who loves to race in her cars,

The rollercoasters are mostly female due to the coasters often being referred to as such. What do you think? I want to see some more ideas.
 
Ah if only Oblivia was a name... yeah its almost Courtyard Taverny' but just SFW. So it was Thia Collins who was making the "peeing" noises in the TH13TEEN queue all along eh?

If she was doing the counting I imagine she probably made the rest of the queue line

sounds awesome i have also drawn / created a story on the rides (especially the smiler) i only real draw manga so there in manga style

and yours sounds great ^.^ i even started a comic at on point on my versions of the rides
 
This is something I've spent the last 7 years working on.
My concept was 'Alton Island', basically a landmass with a similar outline to that of the park, with different regions and communities based on the themed areas that all update as per the park itself. I plan to create characters based on every single attraction in the park, complete with artwork and back stories that tie in as well as possible to the rides. Over time I've made a number of changes, with all of the existing characters receiving a major overhaul two years ago (largely to update horrible artwork and add in character evolution)
The Big Six are represented by:

"Nemesis" - Originally a nameless creature from an alternate dimension, billions of years old and known only by the word that those on his 'home' planet called him (their word for Demon). Eons trapped in hypersleep with his troubled thoughts drove him insane and now he seeks to exact revenge for the injustices he suffered in the bloodiest way imaginable.

Oliver Mabillard - Typically known by his codename Agent Oblivion, he oversees a government funded project to create a secret weapon that will destroy Nemesis. A very serious man who seems rather distant at first glance.

Air Luftai - A Goddess of Wind sent from the kingdom of Granadia to protect humanity and contain the Demon King. Kind hearted, but inexperienced.

Teresa Tamin - A woman cursed with immortality at the exact moment she attempted suicide. Having crossed paths with a murderous old witch, she has spent the last 200 years watching over what remains of her family.

Miles Kelman - Once a very cheerful doctor, then a very cheerful medical scientist, now a deranged and very disturbed man. Going by the codename Agent Smiler, Miles' experiments are not exactly humane, but the side effects of them are exactly what X Sector needed. Eternally grinning, he is prone to severe psychotic episodes...

Rita Tamin - A natural born petrolhead if ever there was one, her entire life has revolved around motoring. She's a regular entrant in the Thunder Rock Rally tournament, although she's known for becoming a little too competitive.

There are actually quite a few people I know who have created Alton based characters, so I always enjoy finding others who take part in this.

yeah you have put a lot of thought in to yours at the moment y story for the charitors id very long and mine are constantly changing there looks thats why i hardly post about my version of alton towers
