Jeezo. Hoping this isn't an indication of the "enhancements and new themed features" happening with Air for next year...

So why that fence and not this one too. Its just as dangerous

I'm sure they will get round to it! Or maybe they won't, that is where the Air shop is being extended to next year so they probably can't justify the expenditure of a fence extension for just 2 months to the accounants!

Normally this wouldn't bother me that much but the shoddiness of this is shameful
  1. It really isn't needed.
  2. It is the wrong colour
  3. Looks like it is going to fall off
  4. In the 13 years that fence had been their there has been no problems

I don't think it's needed as to me if you climb over a fence you should be liable for your actions but at least they are in the style of the existing fence.

I would imagine the whole lot will get repainted over the closed season anyway
 
Does any other rides have more fences yet? Nemesis next most likely, seen as though you can jump one small fence and are in the air ride area.
 
I can see the queue line leading into Nemesis' station next to the vertical loop pit receiving these next.

And as a result all hell breaking loose on here :)
 
Looks awful. I'm more concerned though that all these 'add on' fences will be left be for life (let's face it they won't remove it all and replace it with one tall new fence). Which will add to the general worn down look of the whole park. It is 'just a fence' although I don't think it helps the image of the park when there are areas that already look messy.
 
Meh, they are quite bad at the moment, although they could go around at closed season replacing them with normal fences, what happened on raptor doesn't help, and if someone did fall look at this country's press, next we'll be walking through catwalk cages round the nemesis queue by the entrance to oblivion station ;) I do hope they make some effort to make them look better next season, or just realise they aren't needed, if people are so desperate to get over them they will just climb, if they get hurt its their problem, and they are selfish, I have seen someone jump into a ride area by spinball, he saw a car, soiled himself and quickly jumped back over, and soiled himself again when security had a little 'chat' with him, resulting in him probably having to stand around outside the park as he was on a school trip
 
More so this could have an effect on the new rides coming to the park as in they might be more against having queue lines in and around a coaster

if the next coaster (sw8 in guessing) has queues like the smiler, then they will have to build the queue line under and around the ride. That is unless the entrance will be in mutiny bay

cant think of any way this would break health and safety rules...
at least in x-sector they can call it "theming"

Nemesis has already had fence extensions on the viewing plaza, but it matches the look of the old fencing so well nobody seems to have noticed, just like the heightened green fencing on the Air plaza.

Has anyone stopped to think that things may happen in the park that you don't know about? All of these new fences would have been implemented for good reason, otherwise why spend the money on it?
