Scarefest 2015

Not really that surprising. Without the accident they would have used Smiler imagery in the advert, so we are just reverting back one SW for promotional purposes.
Irrespective, I think the 13 one works better than the Smiler would have done so.

I asked earlier in the year about the bring a friend for £10 and was told they can be user. Also there is an option for after 4pm tickets on the website i think they were £15 each

If you quoted the whole of my post I thought the cinematic trailers by ents could have been used for trailers. Obviously wasn't expecting The Smiler's advert to be used.

I'm guessing they used the Th13teen advert to push the 'ride in the dark' advertising, which interests casual guests more. But still... those trailers by ents are damn good and worthy of being used on TV.

Does anyone know why the age limit for the mazes are only 15+ and why they have put the age so high (just curious)

I can only imagine it's due to the nature of the mazes this year, being touched and having a bag over your head may not be considered fun by young people or their parents for that matter. Although I'm sure many under 15's would enjoy the mazes it's just something put in place by Towers due to the more extreme nature of this years attractions.

I understand that having a bag over your head and being touched would be extreme for most people but surely a recommended age would have been better than saying that anyone under 15 cannot go on.

Maybe so, but Towers have their reasons for the age limit and I'd say they're fair with their reasoning.

Yeah, there must be a very valid reason why they are enforcing it. But how strictly can they enforce it? They aren't going to ask everyone for ID when they enter

Well actually, I believe that's exactly what they are going to do.

Is a MAP with my photo and DOB good enough?
Any document with DOB, address or something like that should be fine, you can copy your birth certificate if you have one or National Insurance Number.

I mean a merlin pass. Does that count?

And @Tom.B can confirm that they allow the free tickets and £10 tickets

They won't ask for ID. That will open up a whole load of problems since most people don't have a form of ID on them until they reach 17/18. Plus an ID requirement would have to be advertised so guests can come prepared. Imagine how many pissed off guests you'll get once they've pay extra for something they cannot go in because they weren't informed ID is something that's required.

I reckon they'll check ID's when people collect their tickets. Is there a note on the page when you pre-book maze tickets?

There is no ideal time slot - in theory it is the same every time you go.

However, the best ambience would be as it turns dark. Around 6.30pm I would say!

:)

I just meant that I don't really want to queue too long and certain times of day may be longer :)
