Had Charlie actually ran with two lifts at all this season? Every time I look at ride times it always has a big queue compared to the rest of the park, which I'm guessing is because it will be on one lift.

In regards to a shop, that is the most surprising thing about the ride, it's the one ride where a lovely themed chocolate shop would actually improve the ride! And there is plenty of room in the exit area as well. If they really wanted they could have sold books and other chocolate factory items.
 
If Charlie had been properly, better and up keeped theming, immersive queue plus a chocolate shop at the end, it would be an excellent family attraction which would be as equal or even better than Duel.

Unfortunately it's not though and as a result I hate the ride.

Every time I have done Charlie this season and last season it has always been the right lift that is working. In fact in all the years I have been riding Charlie the left lift very rarely seems to be used.
 
It's a modern day disgrace of a ride prefer get kick in the balls by a goat than ride it
 
Well, Duel has outlived the Haunted House so I wouldn't be surprised if it did.
