I'd say the embedding works. ;)

Very nasty. :/ I assume this was a dodgy Chinese knock off ride?

From what I've seen of this, it appears he was stood up, meaning that (because it was a dodgy top spin clone) the OTSR didn't lock correctly and he fell out.

If he didn't die on impact, and if he wasn't paralysed by the fall, he bloody well would be after the PIGGYBACK he received! Dear god!!

Lets try the TPR video:

Spoilered it because the thumbnail is a bit graphic

Bit of a none story since nobody was on board, which you have to read all the way down to the bottom to find out...

Its the mail.. What do you expect?

Surprised I doesn't mention the smiler crash and how amusement parks and rides are all death traps

I've moved these posts from the thread created to this one as I'm not sure it was worthy of its own thread.

:)

Spotted on Coasterforce
A knock-off disk-o has crashed in India at Kishkinta near Chennai. One man is confirmed dead, with at least 9 more undergoing treatment.

It appears that the ride had been closed since the area was hit by flooding in December and this was a test ride with park workers being forced to ride it. The park owner has been arrested.

There's a video of it crashing; the carriage just...falls off. I'll put it in spoiler tags, in case people don't want to see it.

Zamperla have released a statement distancing themselves from the knock-off

Ooooh, nasty!

How small was the track though? It almost looked like they only had the middle section and forgot to assemble the rest of it.

I didn't want to watch it, I assume it's not good.

I made the mistake of watching TPR's 'Top Spin Death' video which was clearly there to feed the Alvey money making, cruise going, obnoxious fuelling, arrogance proclaiming, lower than a worm's tit for views attempt at making money.

Ouch. It's a grim video, not gonna describe it for the benefit of those who those who don't wanna see it. This is why you have dummies for testing.

And people complain about towers being unsafe. At least rides here must be completely safe before they're allowed to be ridden by the public. Horrible video, but it shows why rides are tested thoroughly to make sure this won't happen. Looking at the accidents this year though, and it seems that most/all have been on rip off rides. No suprise, but shows how good the safety record of the real manufacturers are.
