TS Official Meet Calendar 2016

Why would anyone go to Chessington after last year's shambles?
There's at least 2 in our group who haven't been before... and I'm not paying £25 for a couple of kiddie Vekomas when I can get into Chessie for free. :)

I haven't been to Chessington in years! Looking forward to the tomb blaster, bubble works, dragon's fury, the rattlesnake and any new rides .
My sister doesn't know yet but I'll be staying at her place in central London or I could stay at my dads in Thornton Heath to go to Thorpe Park the next day. I'll meet you guys at both parks.
I'll see if my sister, Becca & Kim wants to come as well

Looking forward to not having the burden of doing Chessie for the first time on South meet. Some well themed, quality family coasters from a park with a clear heart and soul ftw. :)

Chessington is a total misery if it's busy, which it will be as it's a Saturday. I'll be staying away.

I went in 2015 on a summer saturday, did Vampire early and last ride of the day, everything else had a small queue

I'm doing Chessie by Megabus, setting off 10pm the day before and making sure it is a week day to make sure the misery is minimal. Wasn't particularly great the last weekend I went

It's a shame to hear Chessie has gone down hill. It's one of my guilty pleasures and I really like the park. I'd go out on a limb and say it's the best themed park in the country. I always loved visiting and I've never really had a bad day there.

I used to love Chessie around 2011, but sadly it was indeed dreadful last year. Going to Legoland, which can sometimes feel like a mistake for geeks our age, improved the day. There lay the issue with South as the Merlin park only meet it was; one park was always rubbish, and you either needed to drive or arrange for someone who could to ferry you about, as you didn't know which one it'd be this time until you went. I'm looking forward to trying somewhere different this year, especially with the new Vekomas to justify the distance to Paultons. Can we find a Nando's again to repeat last year's Beaconsfield Nando's sosche?

Confirmed for the Saturday of the Rollercoaster Restaurant Meet!

Also interested in fireworks and or scarefest sometime this year but not 100% on those yet!

I'm interested in the Thorpe trip. Can I make my own way there and meet everyone at the park? I can't make the Saturday (Paultons).

Booked my wristband for Mandy Land #onit!

£21 which is not bad. I will be there for the Saturday but not the Sunday as I'll be taking my Sister out for her Birthday. :)

I'm definitely considering one of these meets for my first TS meet! Need to get out there and make some new coaster buds (or crazy peoples, whichever term is more suited :p). If anyone is passing through Worcestershire on the way up to the Fireworks meet, a lift would definitely be appreciated. :D

Any chance of a MerlinPool meet page/thread soon? Interested but its hard to gauge what the turnouts going to be without any mention apart from a date that's now only a month away!

This was mentioned over the weekend and I believe Dan will be creating the thread very shortly!

:)

I'm going, that should be all you need to know to entice you :p:D

Not convinced many people will be going now unless they have already booked hotels. Prices have shot up.
