Mini Meet Drayton Manor, Saturday 4th June

Despite its lack of outstanding attractions, Drayton Manor is a park that has consistently given TowersStreet groups good days out, and I usually like to have a trip there around this time of year. Not a lot changes from year to year, though as you may be aware The Haunting (in previous years a TS so-bad-it's-good favourite) has had an overhaul for this season which will be interesting to see.

Park hours:

Gates open 9:30 AM.
Rides open 10:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
Extension of opening times have been known if the park is busy, though this is unlikely.

Adult ticket prices:

£23 if booked online 7 or more days in advance.
£29 if booked online within 7 days in advance.
£39 on the gate.

From having tried it out it looks like the booking system should accept 7 day advance rate bookings up to the end of Saturday, rather than Friday as you might expect.

Meet times (based on last year's trip, unless anyone has any better suggestions):

9:00 AM - McDonald's Lichfield Wall Island, as is tradition. Convoy to park following consumption of breakfast.
9:45-10:00 AM - Meet at north entrance (G-Force, Thomas Land), assuming the car park on that side gets filled first as usual.
