I'm here once again and the new train is back in the shed but it's on 3 trains.

I was wrong, the new train is on the track.

Was on three trains but it's gone to two now. Is the new train being used? One of the trains being used today looked a lot shinier than the other ones and had row numbers on the side of the seats which the others didn't seem to have.

I could be entirely wrong about that but the two trains being used now are 5 and 1 I think. Couldn't catch the other number when it was being used

Is 4 the new one? I wonder why it was taken off if so.

You've also got to remember that they're probably be extremely cautious with any small issues with The Smiler, even the smallest incident could set off the tabloids again.

I never had fun trips like Alton Towers in my day. Back then, all my school trips were educational and we had to go around doing boring essays and filling out question sheets etc...

And for end of school year fun, we were only given the choice of either a Video (DVD wasn't invented back then) or a naff school disco

For my first trip to Alton, before I could drive, I took a train from Broxbourne to London then to Stoke on Trent and then a connection bus to the park :(. I'm so pleased that I passed my driving test for the following year :)

OK we didn't have anything like the Smiler, Oblivion or Nemesis back then, but at least we had The Black Hole which was it total darkness :) (unlike it later years :().
