Strange Rides

Came across this earlier:

Apparently they make these things called flat rides? Naturally with Alton Towers being my home park, I never knew rides that weren't roller coasters existed!

But why would any rollercoaster park want to install one of those weird things? Thorpe Park had some similar looking things but I just assumed they were large theming objects so took little notice of them.

:)

This is similar to something I posted a few pages back. It's equally as stupid...

...an amusement ride that involved 15 patrons falling almost 1,000 feet inside a 30-foot-long bullet, which then would land inside a champagne-flute-shaped, 180-foot-deep well...

Hell yeah, that looks sweet! The only terrifying thing about that is how the showman stopped the gondola by grabbing it mid swing.

This one's brilliant, it looks like it was built in someone's shed. It starts off harmlessly enough but then chaos breaks loose.

Not sure I would enjoy this one.

that looks absolutely insane! I'm surprised that the arm doesn't rotate all the way round.

I'm not too sure if this has already been posted but I came across this Steampunk park on fb

That's so cool, bless the dogs, I'm sure I could put a couple of drunken night out pulls in those trains .

At least real dogs can have a ride on a train.
