Seat Belt Extentions

It's in the FAQ. https://www.altontowers.com/useful-info/faq#desktop-sub-2-55 Under theme park then the question is how restrictive are the restraints.

But I've copied the list below

-----

A number of our rides have test seats outside their entrances, due to restrictive nature of some of our rides restraints, as a guide here are the chest width restrictions for the rides which are affected.

Galactica 48 inches
Rita 48 inches
Nemesis 52 inches
Oblivion 52 inches
The Smiler 56 inches
TH13TEEN Restrictive, please speak to a member of staff
Spinball Whizzer Restrictive, please speak to a member of staff

Please be aware: Spinball Whizzer has a maximum weight limit of 111kg.

These restrictions have been decided by individual ride manufacturers due to health and safety regulations.

-----

I would add that on Nemesis and Oblivion it would be the special larger seats that have the 52" limit, most seats are smaller (48" at a guess for smaller seats).
typical, it's in the place that i forgot to check!

Thanks,

googled and converted that in to uk dress sizes which is around a size 22+ think my group will be fine as the largest is a 16/18 max. Just didn't want us to be disappointed when we got there and let it spoil our day.

I don't know how to tag people (d'oh) so hoping you'll see this belongtothesmiler - I'm a size 18 and never have any bother getting into anything (some rides are a bit tight but not uncomfortably so). I went last year with a mate who was maybe a size 20-22 at the time and she got on everything bar Galatica because they couldn't get the restraints on but it was due to her big boobs :p She managed everything else fine, even RMT. Don't think you are your pals will have any problems getting on! :)

Imma fat bast'd myself, but my golden rule has always been that if and when I ever get "bounced" from a ride... it's time to reach for the slimfast.

Except Shed Terra, that bounced normal people on its' soft opening a season or 2 ago and nearly bounced me, John and Nicole (John and Nicole are skinny, I was less of a fat bast) or any Maurer Spinner as they were designed for midgets with a BMI of 3.5

The Spinball Whizzer is 7 clicks in place I only know this because on Monday the guy sat next to me was sort of big but not that big. Anyway the lady reached under the car to unlock the restrains and she did mine by mistake so they had to relock mine and do the guys. They got to 6 clicks and where like one more and we have done it and they did. I dont get the point of the other 7 clicks/lockings anyway this guy was about a size 20 waste I think hope it helps.
