Would you rather an attraction was left SBNO (for scenery etc) or demolished to leave a blank space there? Discouss your thoughts here :)

Assuming the ride will never operate again, I'd prefer it to be removed so something new can replace it.

If the ride was 100% not going to operate again than I don't see much difference in the options.

They both seem the same.

It all depends, Wallibi holland's Boomerang, la via volta was left to rot for four years, with its cars sold off and in a very sorry state ( as did the rest of the park) SBNO.
It then received a major overhaul and relaunched as "Speed of sound" becoming one of the better ( if not best) examples of a vekoma boomerang.
Same again with Xpress becomming Xpress platform 13

Depends on the ride and the overall situation.

If the ride that is SBNO is not planned to reopen, then remove it ASAP regardless of what it is.

If it's a "temporary" SBNO closure of a highly rated ride, then no, keep it SBNO for as long as needed until it can come back into service. However if the ride is rubbish, then remove it.

Like many have said if it was never going to operate again then get rid of it - I don't see the point in having it just sat there - if anything it would make me sad especially if it was a good ride. I would much rather it go so there is space for something new.

Neither, I would have liked a third option

Option 3: Replace the ride with something different/better asap :)

This isn't really a topic which feels like it would go anywhere. Neither is it one which seems to be related to Alton Towers (at least from what's been posted).
