Phantasialand: General Discussion

I don't want to speak on his behalf but Plastic Person was obviously being tongue-in-cheek...

Going to PL tomorrow for the first time in a few years - is there anywhere nice to eat or is the food as dross as ever?
Great bratwurst in Berlin, Tapas in Mexico. Rutmores Tavern in Klugheim that is like home style cooking, Chinese food in China. Lots for everyone really. Good quality too

Can't speak for Klugheim as not done it but I too found a lot of PL's in park food a bit meh but the Jambalaya in Africa is very good. The tavern food looks good on pictures.

Look, it's [and this is where my German spelling fails me] "Ein gross pilsner UNT ein currywürst bitte!"

Both or not at all!

So what you are saying is you are going to abstain from any alcohol at EP outside of German ally and England areas.... that's very principled of you :)

Got back from my visit yesterday and got on Taron for the first time. Rode it several times. It would appear it's significantly better later in the day and whether you're at the front or back makes a big difference. It's great fun without being very intense. The theming is obviously class and Rutmore's in Klugheim is fantastic.

As for Phantasialand itself. Some minor things about the park irritate me, such as the park opening at 9am but there literally being nothing open making it pointless, but it does many things very well. I normally would have continued to complain about why they continue to keep Wuzeball which is almost never open, however it finally was while I was there! I'm not one to be bothered by coaster credits but this one feels special.

I can safely say Phantasialand may well be the best park I've been to for food. Rutmoores is amazing, yet even the quick service food is of excellent quality.

I'm very fascinated yet confused by this Wuzeball cred people mentioning. Is it another coaster or is it Winjas related?

Is it's real name even Wuzeball if it's unrelated to Winjas?

The park's executive assistant, Chris Theis, who does a lot of the park's media stuff especially behind the scenes videos, posted this image with the caption: 'Sky is the limit'.
They could have just been filming promotional stuff or could this be related to F.L.Y. (the park did say when Rookburgh was announced they would be doing construction update videos/articles like they did for Klugheim).

That aerial picture really shows how much that park has changed since my first visit. There's very little in that view that's not been built in the last 10 or so years. Crazy!
