Due to the proximity of that section to the queue line shop, I suspect it'll be where the train comes to a complete halt and you'll be forced to make a compulsory purchase there; before re-boarding and the train limps back to the station.

Best thing I've read in a long time.

Is anyone else confused by the seemingly unbanked corner part-way around the layout? It can be seen in construction updates and seems to occur here in the layout plan;

Check the first clip on this video

I can imagine it being like this, adding a nice change up from a banked corner making it feel wild and out of control - think it'll be an amazing feature

I trust GCI know what they are doing so I am sure that corner is appropriately banked to provide some form of thrill. Who needs negative Gs when you can have laterals?

:)

Looks great! The park looks gorgeous in this picture and the first section from high point to low point looks like it will be a lot of fun! The banked drop down into the very lowest point will be fantastic. A compact twisty out of control feeling GCI coaster is pretty much exactly the ride the park needs. MERLIN ***please*** get the tone of the theme right!!!!!

I think it looks great, but the tune is very different on Facebook, with many people saying it looks disappointing, short and even some people saying it looks slow (yes, really!)

That's probably because most of their Facebook fans are members of the GP, not enthusiasts!
(Could be wrong, though...)

I'm still reserving judgement on this one. I think it will be very good fun, but my gut feeling is that it's a bit of a missed opportunity in terms of layout and general design. We'll see though; I must say, it's at least unusual in a quite classic Alton manner, and I like how it takes advantage of the overall terrain. Time will tell.

The general public are what matters. Mass disapproval could mean that there is never a wooden rollercoaster built in the UK again. However, I'm reasonably confident they will be pleasantly surprised by the ride experience.

People aren't saying anything about it being wooden though.......just that the layout looks short and boring. Can't really argue with them too much at this point. The proof will be in the pudding.

Tatenhill Aviation were the people who originally posted the photo on Facebook. I was referring to the comments on their original post. Sorry for not being more clear.
Oh, well that won't have been me as I'm not on Facebook. Just some else thinking the same thing! :)
