Frankly, you should all ditch the NSAbook login stuff. Anyone using it is playing RIGHT in to their hands...

Suuuuure.... that's exactly what a GCHQ tool like you would say....

To be honest @DiogoJ42, most of us on here know about your hate of FaceBook and could guess you would moan like the 30 something you are :D

Yes we are all being profiled! Even posting on here profiles u. No harm atm. But all of this data will be used in a bad way in the future. I.e. Demographic profiling of race/religion/product purchases. Future wars based on software analytics!
Isolating facebook? You think your nice bbc news app doesn't use your reading data or sky doesn't record you viewing data or your isp history(oh) welcome to 2017.
Guess what soon we will plug everything into the net.

Why do I even bother? Go ahead and believe this christmas thing the humans keep talking about will turn out well for you turkeys.

I would love to see what would happen if the world couldn't gain access to Facebook for a considerable amount of time. The pandemonium that would ensue the lands...."Oh the horror!! the shakes, the sweats."
Would love to create a hate thread towards Facebook, but i know that it would just be myself and Diogo making ourselves feel better through daily rants.

I did a social experiment today. With my birthday set to Me only on Facebook, I watched to see how many would forget my birthday.
The one rule for me was I could not outright say it was my birthday.

It is amazing how we use Facebook to remind us of things like birthdays.

But... It can be very difficult to remember people's birthdays, especially when it's just friends or non immediate family. I don't see any problem with Facebook remind you of birthdays. I mean, we put all our family friend's birthdays on our calendar to remind ourselves. Surely this is no different. :)

It was an experiment on how Facebook is integrated into our lives and how we use it as a social tool.
I use it to remind me of events and birthdays and have no problem with it. And thought it would be interesting to see how many do the same

I love how this thread started as a simple website issue/fix topic, and now it's into a profound discussion regarding social media's integration into the modern age.

Stick to a calendar, better for the eyes.
