Disneyland Paris: General Discussion

This has been so sorely needed for a long time, and blimey! If the concept art is anything to go by, this will be transforming the park into what it should have been from the start! The backlot theme now concentrated to one area, and a long avenue acting as the new ‘hub’. Also, potential for unique attractions as well as bringing Star Wars from the US parks

This looks like it should "fix" the park, removing the outdated (even when it was new) backlot tour will open plenty of space up. The only issue could be if too many attractions (Frozen, Star Wars) are just copies of Florida, many people will still rather go to Florida than Paris despite the higher cost to get there. Paris really needs to make sure there are enough unique experiences as well as classics.

The choices of themes does not surprise me. Not that I'm complaining mind, it just pretty much makes perfect sense to include Star Wars, Marvel and Frozen. But god damn that looks amazing! The park badly needed an overhaul and this looks like it will do the job! Can't wait until it's built :D

Oh it looks like ToT is staying put judging by the concept art. For now...

Wow! This looks really impressive! Wonder what sort of rides these areas will entail? I know that Star Wars will likely entail the same rides as in Florida and California (Millennium Falcon and Battle ride) and that Marvel will probably include the Iron Man retheme of RnRC, but other than that, I'm intrigued!

Disneyland Parc may have just lost the crown for the best theme park in the resort... I feel bad for DHS now, with just 2 lands coming, rather than 3 on major, enormous IPs.

It's so good to see that WDS is finally getting the love it needs! I thought I'd take a stab at mapping out the concept art a little bit to get an idea of the scale, as well as look at some opportunities for further expansion. As you can see , even by rough guesswork, the park is going to nearly double in size! SWL layout is taken from the US versions, and the rest is mostly guesswork

And as discussed a few pages back, the existing park effectively becomes Marvel Studios and Disney/Pixar animation. There is a small amount of "Hollywood" in the centre with Tower of Terror and then the new lands at the back.

Wow, two shooting rides!

I was thinking along the lines of a pre-existing attraction to add to Toy Story Land. On closer inspection, you can see the concept art actually shows a new entrance to TSL from the new main boulevard, which also has the Alien Swirling Saucers attraction shown !

The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the straight path that just appears to be a simple long path with very little theming or anything there.

I've seen a bit of speculation that Disney may have more to reveal about the Boulevard down the centre of the park. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if anything happens! :)

If you see the concept theres certainly something hidden plus it looks like windows/canopy visuals on the left hand side.

Im hoping for Carthay Circle like California Adventure, it would match ToT and also add a nice place to eat and drink.

I do not think we will be seeing Midway Mania. However looking at the concept it does seem like Toy Story Playland will be expanded with the Alien Saucers ride at Toy Story Land in Florida.

I also reckon that it might not be the full Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge area but maybe a smaller version with only one of the E-tickets.

:)

Ah but this is two shooting rides in the same park. Plus Buzz Lightyear in the main park.
