Wicker Man - General Discussion - Part Two

No wonder goons leave AT with empty pockets!
It’s actually kinda cool. They must’ve employed local artists to do it which is nice and it it legitimately limited merch unlike the wooden blocks that they’ve magically replenished.

Yeah, I like the thought of genuinely limited edition merch. But really, three hundred quid? Like Brad says though, someone will buy them
It would’ve cost much more time in man hours to produce and towers probably aren’t making much from them. I agree though, £300 for the little ones is a bit much but at least they are solid metal.

The £3000 Wicker man was made by a female scuptor/artist. There was an info card in front of it which explained this. It looked good. Wouldn't pay that sort of money for it though. Looks good in the shop anyway. Like mentioned above, hope no-one buys it.

I assume you'd be buying a copy made to order by the artist, which would then be delivered directly from them. So I think the one in the shop is safe even if Sanbrooke finds £3k burning a hole in his pocket.

I'd be very surprised if Wicker Man doesn't open on Monday, as others have said there is absolutely no reason for it to be closed when the weather gets better. It's understandable that it is closed this weekend, but why cause more upset when there would be no need?

On a random note, I was just thinking to myself; as Thirteen and The Smiler have both had their baggage holds replaced with cages for this year, how long do we reckon Wicker Man's baggage hold will last? I'm reckoning until SW9 opens, as then pressure for throughputs is lifted.

Probably until about June.

Depends... What's ISIS up to these days?

:D
(Personally, I suspect that either the smiler and thirteen will get there baggage holds back next year (with WM keeping its baggage hold), or wickermans will be removed 2-3 years from now)

I think that this might be true if Wicker Man brings in high volumes of visitors, which I think it will.

I only took three photos last night but one of them was of the £3k chap

but think about it practically for a second. Where would one put that? I don’t think it’d complement my lounge. It’d Be like a scary, expensive Christmas tree.
