Wicker Man - General Discussion - Part Two

Any 'stop-start shuffle' is the ride's programming.

I guess when you have a woodie, it isn't moved as precisely due to the lack of kicker wheels. So it's all gravity, therefore the station brakes have an acutely exact job to do. See Grand National as an example. Now THAT is a station shuffle.

Did I meet any of you guys on Saturday at lunch time, outside the Welcome-Inn whilst having a beer? We chatted about Europa Park and other things? Great bunch of people but forgot to ask who they were or where they were from!

Anyone know what time Wicker Man opened today?

About 9:50, followed by delay announcement and sending a few empty trains round again after first few dispatches. Queues ranged from 65mins morning to 5 mins (don't know how) in the afternoon.

EDIT

It has begun

I noticed this around the queue line as well. Even disregarding the needless vandalism I don't see what people get out of it.

Towers should introduce a vandalism fine for those who think it's a good idea to vandalise the park.

I don't really care if that chavs day gets ruined because they're ruining everyone else's day by making us look at it. Making everyone else's day that bit worse.

Managed to get on Wicker Man 5 times today, along with everything else so a thoroughly successful day. Wicker Man is fantastic, however one (very small) downside is the lap bars. They are obviously not designed for passengers who carry a little excess weight (like myself) and can be a tad painful against the stomach and the tops of your legs when being jolted around the track. Not a biggie like I say, I would like a little more comfort but obviously safety is paramount.

Well Disney don't sell chewing gum in order to limit the ammount of it spat on the floor.... Maybe don't sell pens?
Totally agree with you. There's enough merchandise in the shop as it is.
