2018: Park Operations & Ride Availability

For example, I was having a fun little read through TTSP's Thirteen reviews topic from 8 years ago, and a member in there linked to a review on another forum that I am not going to name, where the head of said forum rode Thirteen and said that it was "a Vekoma Rollerskater with a cheap gimmick at the end" and that "the only psychological challenge involved with it is "how long are we going to wait for it?"" Now, someone disagreed with the head of this forum, saying that the families riding the attraction seemed to like it, and that it was a good ride. The head of this forum then told them to "Shut the hell up with [their] Alton Towers fanboy attitude." and warned that if anyone else countered their "expert opinions", then they would be banned. If I were like this on the forum I just mentioned, then I would likely have been banned a long time ago. So thank you to everyone on here for putting up with me, and sorry for getting on everyone's nerves.

Hmmm. Can't possibly decipher which theme park related review forum that could be? Head of it sounds like a lovely chap, he should really think about starting his own YouTube channel with an attitude like that! ;)

Does that (rather fat) chap enjoy urinating whilst riding coasters?

Hmm, I'm pretty sure I can guess both which forum that was and who the "bloke" in question is, but i'm going to keep quiet. ;)

Hopefully if they start getting everything opened for its it's planned time, they'll start planning to open more rides at 10.

The staggering still means more than half of the parks coasters are closed.

It’s not ideal but every ride that was meant to open at 10 (apart from smiler) is open.
Smiler hasn't been ready at 10am for the last few days, it's verging on false advertising really saying that it will be open at 10am (yes I know they have the 'rides may not be available at any time for whatever reason but don't expect a refund' clause when you buy a ticket).

It's worrying that a single set of circumstances can pinpoint a particular forum...

Shows how celebrity can go to some heads...

I guessed who it was straight away! I know people have been banned from the forum in question for disagreeing with said person, or having a different sense of humour to him.

Anyway - back to Towers! It seems everything apart from The Smiler coaster-wise is currently open, but with Wicker Man having a 2hr queue. Nemmy is only on 15mins for that second train is certainly helping things.

Wait, is Nemmy's second train back in operation?
Yup, second train was running without the wheel covers on as of yesterday.

Probably triples capacity because they don't have to wait for all the riders to leave the station before beginning loading and the train is usually ready to go just as the other one hits the brakes.
