I wouldn't hold your breath, I doubt that Sub-terra will be opening in the foreseeable future. I just think that the queue-line announcement has been switched on by mistake and forgotten about. They often leave all the music and stuff playing in CBeebies land overnight, but yet none of the rides are open during the night.

Yeah perhaps your right but hopefully something will be done to Sub terror itself or something new in that spot
 
Seeing how the page features pictures of 'scientists' with those nemesis eggs it seems almost certain it is
 
OKAY! Its starting to seem very likely that Sub Terra could be opening this Scarefest. A yellow tent has been erected at the entrance and recently, as we know, they have started playing the announcements. Its very unlikely we will see the drop tower in use, however whats not stopping the maze and other interior sections being in use! I suppose it probably smells in there though.
 
If this is going to be a new maze it’s a long trek over to FV to do 1 maze.
And if it’s going to be an extra 1 off charge like the welcoming. Can’t see too many walking all that way to do it either

Isnt the work due to the drop towers being harvested for the dungeon?
 
ScareTOUR have just announced the retirement of Terror of the Towers with a new maze names Project 42 set to replace it. Also confirmed the return of The Welcoming, Sub-Species, Alton Mine Tours, and an extension to House of Monsters as well as the potential removal of the Freak Show scare zone.

Although Terror of the Towers has deteriorated over the last few seasons I think I would have preferred a refresh over removal. Maybe a change to the story or a few new scenes would have sufficed to keep me interested in what is Alton's most iconic maze as far as I'm concerned.

I am shocked that The Welcoming has returned. lets pray it is different to last year. I feel it on;y worked last year as it was just a teaser for Wicker Man.

It is confirmed that Project 42 will be in Forbidden Valley. When you go to purchase your Scare Maze tickets on the website, it openly states where the maze will be located.

A little disappointing to see Freak Show removed, and the removal of the Scare Zones all together, however I was personally never that fond of the zones anyway. I'd much rather see a new Scare Maze added to the mix and the family offering changed up.

So it appears Scarezones are no more, but there is added street entertainment in Mutiny Bay and around Galactica instead.
 
My daughter hates scare zones. The actors where good at picking up the signs that we were a no go. When we passed the edge of the scare zones.

I too can't believe that the TOTT has gone. Also sad to see the removal of the scare zones, there were the only accessible scare attractions for Jess. If the project 42 is located in NST, I resume that the drop tower will still be SBNO?
