2018: Park Operations & Ride Availability

Enchanted Village is built on what used to be part of (grass) car park K, so they're now more likely to need field M/N
Weren't these car parks also used for Field of 1000 Screams during Scarefest prior to the EV opening?

Yes, though that only lasted 3 years and used much less space than EV takes up.

I wouldn't want to park near EV now though, it's a fair walk even to the monorail station and the monorail queues are far longer than they used to be thanks to the new boarding procedures slowing things down.

Ah OK. Thanks @John!

Chessington was nuts when we dropped in day before last, so many people it took us 20 minutes to walk from the South entrance to the MAP hub, lots of really angry people too, a woman who we let go in front of us because she only wanted a car park ticket, said she had been there since opening and had got on only three rides, this was 4.30pm and she'd had enough and was going home,

Still busy:

Oblivion 15 mins
Nemesis 50 mins
Spinball Whizzer 50 mins
Enterprise 60 mins
Galactica 70 mins
Rita 70 mins
TH13TEEN 80 mins
The Smiler 80 mins
Wicker Man 80 mins

Never seen Nemmy with a 50 min queue before.

The Outdoor Duel queue has been all overgrown and a tree has fallen over, so I don't expect that to be used any time soon.

Operations at the park have been very good the past week. I was delighted on Tuesday - throughputs were good, reliability was good. They seem to have really staffed up in recent months compared to the nightmare of March, April and May.

On the grapevine, staggered openings may not be returning. But we need to wait and see.

To confirm: Staggered openings will not be returning on Monday and ride openings will be continuing as they have been over the past couple of months - with all rides at 9.30am/10am with exception to Duel, RMT, Skyride and Rapids.
