Not done Troy, but Ultimate is brilliant and Big Thunder Mountain is one of the best coasters I've been on.

A fairly strong group, I've been on all except O:TBH, which I'm going to assume is about as mediocre as most other small dive coasters, though even if it was as good as Valkyria it still wouldn't get my vote in this group.

Saw is bad

BTM used to be rubbish except at night, I'm not sure what they did to it when it was refurbed but it was good all the time on my last DLP visit and excellent at night. Still not quite good enough for a vote in this group though.

Troy is a ride I missed out on for years, finally riding in 2015. I'd heard good things since it opened but by the time I finally got there I'd already done the vastly superior Wodan and several other GCIs, so I had an idea of what to expect and it wasn't as great as I was hoping. I'm not sure how well it's running at the moment, but last time I was there it had a couple of slightly uncomfortable sections that mean it doesn't quite earn a spot in my top 2.

Onto my votes:

Superman is absolutely excellent. One of a very small number of large old-school B&M multiloopers in Europe, and a top example of the breed.

Ultimate - the most accidentally incredible coaster ever built. Very few rides have the audacity to aim for this level of utter mayhem. Despite the reputation about it being all but unridable for a lot of people, I've never really found it too uncomfortable for some reason. It's my UK #1 by an absolute mile and a contender for top spot in Europe too.

I've done 5 out of 6 of these if BTM before its closure and extensive refurbishment counts.

Big Thunder was pretty dull last time I rode. I always think it looks like an RCT coaster made real (bank, turn, transition back to flat, gentle drop, level out etc.).

Oblivion: TBH can't possibly be as bad as Krake. I wonder from the POV whether it might be a better layout than Baron. I certainly doubt it's as good as Valkyria though, and I wouldn't put that through in this group either.

On my only visit to Parque Warner to date, I thought Superman was very good. It's fun, forceful and far better than Dragon Khan, and the zero-G roll actually gives you that floaty feeling that the name suggests instead of just shoving you up and sideways like most B&M zero-Gs do. I actually preferred it to Stunt Fall, which I did vote for in its group. Why then am I not voting for it? It just lacks that extra something that would make me go right back round the queue for another go straight away.

Saw is the most variable coaster for comfort I've experienced to date. Occasionally it's quite smooth and pleasant. Normally it's a torture device of the sort that befits its theme, bestowing a nasty bout of Gerstache upon you after ripping into the last dive loop at a horrendous pace. Even at its best, it's no competition for most of this group.

Troy gets my first vote. It's not a relentless succession of great hills and corners like Wodan, going slightly off the boil in places, but its length and generally high standard put it second in my admittedly limited experience of GCIs. It wasn't helped when I first rode it by having a few spots of that GCI 'head rattle' as I think John was alluding to, though on my next visit I think all of the sections affected had been renewed to sort that.

The other vote of course goes to The Ultimate. Part of me would like to dock points from it for Lightwater not having enough to do (especially when it's on one train) and most of the ride duration being spent getting you to or from the exciting bits. The first point is irrelevant in what is specifically a coaster poll, and the second pales into insignificance when you consider just how absurd the valley run section and following hills are. Whether by accident or design (probably the former), few coasters can offer that rush and the huge relief of having returned to the station in one piece and without taking out a deer in the process.

So I've ridden 5 of the coasters in this group; Big Thunder, The Ultimate, Troy, Superman and Saw.

This is quite an easy one actually - Troy and Superman. Troy really is a superb and relentless GCI and Superman is a very good B&M Floorless, one of the forgotten but best coasters in Europe I feel.

I am sure that The Ultimate will make it through and I can see why people do enjoy it. However it's just painful and bad!

Ridden them all:

Saw is bad, from queue to theme to the ride, just so bad.

Oblivio is alright, but nothing special.

Superman AdA was rattly to hell when I rode it, enjoyable enough.

Troy was weird, it's been surpassed by other wooden coasters, but also really good in the front, but really rough in the back? Confusing times for it.

BTM is fab, best designed Mine Train by far, with the underwater dives being the stand outs.

Ultimate is just ridiculousness personified in a ride that shouldn't work at all.

BTM and Ultimate got my votes...

A round that is by far a lot easier to decide upon... And this time I am with our good friend @Cheese

I have ridden four of the coasters in this round, but it absolutely has to go to our very own home grown Ultimate Beast and the Netherlands' finest, Troy!

This is a really tough choice! Have been on all except Oblivion but don't think that would get a look in anyways. Saw can also be instantly dismissed but then it gets really hard to pick 2 from the last 4!

BTM has improved so, so much since the refurb and is by far the best of the BTMs. Unfortunately it's going to have to just miss out of my vote here.

Superman is also the best B&M floorless I have been on, and is a really good ride, but just not quite good enough for my vote.

Which means my votes go to The Ultimate and Troy. No explanation required for Ulty, you either love it or hate it. Troy, although it does seem to have got rougher over the years, is a coaster I'll always have a soft spot for. Got some great memories of it and it was the first GCI I rode.
