2019: Rulantica

Fab! I feel like Thomas is keeping the ship afloat while Michael and Thomas swan around meeting Macron etc!

:D

I find it really cool that they are not just making their own theming, but are actually buying in authentic items, such as this sculpture, as well. As for where it will be, I’m gonna take a guess and say that it’ll be displayed as an “exhibit” in one of Krønasår’s restaurants or bar.

Another update from Thomas Mack today! :D

“Today, the Viking ship was placed on the ceiling of the Bubba Sven in the Hotel Krønasår. Who guesses where to find the ship before @europa_park? #howtobuildahotel #Kronasar #Restaurant

EDIT: Another few images of the Rulantica and Krønasår construction site from Thomas Mack.

Europa-Park have signed a contract to serve Carlsberg in Krønasår and Rulantica:

Slide construction in Rulantica has also begun:

Well, it'll be Export no doubt. Hopefully Carlsberg own a few craft beer marques.

The waterpark is really coming on!

:)

Don't Europa always sell Carlsberg? I'm not surprised tbh... I live for the craft beers anyway and won't drink Carlsberg.

Roland is right when he says this is going to beautiful, I've never been so excited for a waterpark before!

There are worse beers out there than Carlsberg. But there are also far better. I've reached the age where upon entering a pub, I ignore the lager taps and head straight for the real ale pumps. Never heard of any of them? Excellent! Start at one end and work your way through them all! :p

The roof of Rulantica was completed today, and just like Hotel Krønasår, this was celebrated with a “topping-out ceremony”, which a number of media representatives as well as people who have worked on the project were invited to. :)

The only thing that annoys me about this project is the power lines which look so ugly. Everything else looks phenomenal

Apologies if this has already been discussed but when do we expect the waterpark to open? Will it be at a similar time to the hotel?

Looking to book my first trip but ideally wanted to go once the waterpark has opened!

Thanks in advance.

The hotel is planned to open first, think from memory the hotel will open in the 2019 main season but the water park is more likely to open in the winter season.

So if you are wanting a first visit with the theme park fully open (so long as the weather isn’t too cold most of the park opens in winter to be fair) you will need to wait until 2020
