Not ridden Expedition GeForce but it is one of my most anticipated coasters and looks like great fun.

However Wodan looks to be a much more complete experience and it relentless from start to finish every time I ride it. The perfect wooden coaster.

I've gone for Wodan.

Gah this is tough. I love Wodan, it is without doubt one of my favourite coasters in Europe. Yet EGF is in my top ten and Wodan is not. However I have not ridden EGF since 2014 therefore if I was to ride it again tomorrow there is a chance that it could drop out of my top ten.

I want to vote for Wodan as my heart does say that it is better than EGF. I also think Wodan will go through regardless. Thereofore I shall not be a hypocrite and the vote goes for the coaster that is higher in my rankings - EGF.

Difficult to vote on this one really. Haven't done EGF and I'm not quite sure how highly I'd rate it either. Everyone harps on about how good it is but I don't feel compelled to rush and try it out.

Then there's Wodan which is obviously bloody brilliant.

Will have to give this some thought before casting my vote.

Similar to Danny here, think EGF looks good but not sure how good, definitely don't believe some of the hype (like the caption in the pov thumbnail, lol) though. Wodan however I love and doesn't have a gaping weak spot in the middle, so it gets my vote, but it wasn't easy.

EGF was my number 1 for a time around 10 years or so ago, but as I said in the last round it's been a long time since I last rode and it's unlikely to be top 10 now.

Back when I last rode EGF, Wodan was quite some way behind it in my rankings but Wodan is not the coaster it was in 2012, I'm not sure how exactly but it's improved immeasurably with age and now one of my absolute favourites. It's also a complete package, which EGF certainly isn't, so gets my vote in this group.

Wodan is my #1 GCI. It is briliant.

EGF is very good but i prefer Wodan.

For years EGF sat as my number one. I remember my first visit, it just blew me away and it still does to this day... Just sadly not quite as much! And I have ridden many more coasters since one of which is indeed Wodan, which has simply gone from strength to strength and just seems to get faster every single time you ride, while EGF never seems to pack as much of a punch.

So for me, it has to be Wodan, for it has matured like a fine wine over the last 6 years (God, how has it been around for that long) and I am sure it shall continue to do so. A wonderful ride, that sits comfortably in my number 2 spot!

As we used to joke, EEE GEE EFF! THE BEST RIDE IN THE WORLD, UH!

Except, um, it's a bit balls in the middle when the train stops bouncing and starts cornering. It's also pretty poorly presented, and permanently operated slowly on one train (rumours of a second train's existence persist, but remain just that). The first drop and airtime offered by the hills are superb though. I've not done it for years, but I'm tempted to go back to Holiday Park for it soon.

Meanwhile, Wodan is an unbelievable coaster these days, a world away from its good but not outstanding state in 2012. At that time I felt some of the hills needed to be a bit lower and more pointy; not any more! Now every second from the top of the first drop to the brake run is positively relentless, with the first half prioritising speed and the second half being spent jumping around madly. it's all so good that there isn't really any one standout element, but one that deserves more praise than it gets is when the train is thrown upwards into the left hand bend from the entrance arch dive to the station flythrough. It's probably helped by having so much going on in your peripheral vision, but it seems to happen so shockingly quickly that you almost wonder just how much faster it would need to be to exceed the average rider's limits. That it also happens to be the most heavily themed, best presented and highest throughput wooden coaster I know of only adds to this, and makes it perhaps one of the finest coasters in Europe.

I am going to vote EGF here; as much as Wodan looks great, I think I'd far prefer EGF if I was to ride both!

I get the feeling that as Expedition GeForce ages, it certainly isn't going to get any better, perhaps point in the direction of worse in the long run. Wodan on the other hand just seems to keep getting better and more relentless every winter season.

On that basis, it has won my vote.

Funny you should say that, actually, as I'd say I've seen quite a resurgence for EGF as of late in terms of opinion, so maybe it has gotten better.

Really tough choice here. EGF is a former no.1 but I haven't ridden it in many years. Wodan is a coaster that has just got better and better with age and is definitely one of my top Euro coasters. I think my vote will go to Wodan, just because it's more of an overall package and is operated a 100 times better than EGF. I would like to get on EGF again soon though, it's been way too long!
