Airtime at Towers

Didn’t know it existed - it looks fantastic - agreed - who needs an inversion when you’ve got that!?
Oh trust me, POVs only tell half the story with a ride like Mako! As good as POVs are, there are very few out there that do the sensation of getting pulled over that drop and those airtime hills justice!

Never been on Mako myself, but from the POV it looks great, I've always thought that the airtime on many coasters is ruined though excessive banking. Mako has some big fast, airtime hills without banking which for the most part is used for the turn around.

It looks my kind of coaster. The big One had the height and budget to do something great, but was cursed with the lamest, airtime killing layout ever. A squandered opportunity and a crying shame.

Would love to give Mako a go, but as a skint, tight, yorkshireman, I don't see me getting to Florida :(

Skint tight yorkshireman you say...one or two about on here...
Can only agree that the smiler humps are the best things on the park for me, would have been happier with a couple less loops and a few more bunny hops.

I enjoy the airtime hills too but would be better with lap bats like we said, and also wish the ride had more of a “Layout” but then it loses is Worlds first and Alton just wouldn’t have that at the time. I really hope now towers can get past the gimmick stage and build coasters for ride experience rather than a marketing ploy.
