Energylandia (Poland): New Coasters

I reckon there's still plenty of chances they can have this open towards the back end of this year.

If not... oh no, what a shame. Three coasters next year rather than two.
 
Somebody needs to sit Auntie Sandra down and have a word. Drinking and falling down like that. Dear me, she’ll embarrass herself!

Anyway. On a more serious note, that does look a bit of a mess. As Rob said, hopefully the damage to the remaining parts is minimal and they can get back on track soon!

So wind powerful enough to topple a significant portion of a roller coaster, but not powerful enough to even nudge a portaloo...

Is this something that could potentially put off new parks (Merlin) looking to buy an RMC?

They've had a death, Lightning Rod being Lightning Rod, the minor train bump on SteVe, and now this.

I wouldn't have thought it would matter, but it's not a great track record on paper.

You could argue the same with Intamin though. Feet severed, seriously delayed projects, drownings, etc. Parks still buy from them regardless. No coaster manufacturer is perfect (soz Mack fanboys) and are bound to have issues.
 
It is unfortunate this has happened, but I don't think this is anything to be overly concerned about. It would have been way worse if it collapsed when operating!

Can imagine the management at Port Aventura desperately rummaging around for the Furious Baco receipt tbf.

It just seems with RMC in particular the incident/number of coasters seems unusually high.

Granted this particular incident isn't that big a deal.
 
^To be fair, the Texas Giant death was on Gerstlauer who manufactured the trains for that ride, not RMC.

There haven't been any issues with RMC manufactured trains.

B&M are the masterclass though, I feel the most safe on their rides for sure.
 
Having not visited is that map featuring the expansion to scale as it's certainly taking up a chunk of space.
 
It's close. It'll feel bigger on the park map as it's separated from the main park by the public road, but given it's roughly the same footprint as Hyperion....
 
The coasters just keep on coming! Track for the Vekoma double launch coaster is now on site, along with Zadra's trains:

Love the blue! Looks like Zadra's trains will be the 2nd gen RMC trains as seen on Steel Vengeance and Twisted Timbers.

Absolutely mental. Two major coasters being constructed at once (both of which have potential to be amongst Europe's best) which will soon turn to three depending on when they start work on the kiddie coaster.
 
Is this growth sustainable?

The Polish government are bank rolling it in a pledge to raise tourism, so I suspect it'll continue for a few more years yet regardless of whether tourism in the area rises.

Well I'm glad I didn't visit last year now. Can't wait until both of these are up! :D

This is very much like Orlando; there doesn't appear to be an ideal time to visit as they will just keep investing and something will appear the year after. You can bet that whilst a trip next year is inevitable, something else will be being built upon arrival.
