A couple of years ago the sausages were indeed pretty good! They are now cheap as chips, as are the hash brown ball things you now get instead of actual hash browns.

I worked out why the lighting stands were still up at towers. They have a private party tonight the Culina group.

So this happened...



Cloud cuckoo land was hardly the theming crown of UK theme park glory but we have gone from a 3D entrance sign to laminated plywood.

I get that CCL is probably in its last season but it would have been better just not to bother.
 
To think back 20yrs to what CCL / Cred Street was like in it's heyday.

I can remember Nickleodeon Outta Control, Slurp 'n' Burp Cafe / Incredible Ices, Indoor play area, Toyshop, Cadburys Chocolate House etc. There was something in the theatre back then too - can't remember what though. This was 20yrs ago. If we go back closer to 30yrs we had Coaster Corner - enough said.

I'm still trying to count all those 50 rides and attractions we have now though.

A picture (or two) say a thousand words Sums the whole place up perfectly IMO

EDIT - Just wanted to be fair and point out that this is a temp fix while the area is being refurbished. There was a hole left where the lamp was removed and was a H&S risk during the event days :)

I quite like the Chicken restaurant in the X-Sector. Eastern Express is nice - and the Hotdogs, waffles and chicken wraps are actually rather lovely opposite the Wicker Man
