Hi guys. As many you will probably know, Theresa May has now resigned as Prime Minister, and there's presently a leadership contest on to elect a new Prime Minister. But which of the candidates would you most like to win?

In the contest, we presently have:
  • Boris Johnson
  • Jeremy Hunt
  • Michael Gove
  • Sajid Jhavid
  • Dominic Raab
  • Rory Stewart

From what I know, I think Rory Stewart is my personal choice. He seems like a nice guy and has good ideas.

But who would you pick?

It's great to see The Weakest Link is back on TV. I used to love that show

I've seen several different outlets suggest that Rory Stewart is "the man that everybody who would never dream of voting Conservative anyway would like to win".

I agree that he is the least bad option.

Of course that means that the Tory membership will never vote for him in a million years.

I don't think any of them should be allowed to run a bath let along the country unsupervised, but just because of the sheer cries of REEEEEEEEEEE it will bring from the rabid left, I hope Boris wins, can you imagine, Boris, Trump and Putin...

Antifa or the likes of the Muslim Defence League may finally be pushed over the edge with all that rancid imaginary racism theyll have to deal with and try something that shows to Joe Public their true colours and they finally get the domestic terrorist group label they deserve rather than the "counter protestor" one they presently have.

I think it's general election time :D
Only if the lib dems can get someone that is not vince cable first.

As for corbyn he really needs to allow someone else a go at running labour

I wouldnt look too much into the coverage, which makes out like it's a presidential system when its not. Nobody has ever voted directly for a prime minister in the UK. Party members vote for a leader and we vote in MPs to parliament. It's a general election that would make a difference

In a general election some people DO vote for their leader!

Anyway, given the situation we are currently in and the mess the Tories have made of it, we absolutely should be given a general election.
