More likely Scream7, ride all seven and get free entry on an obscure weekday in September when the park is closed for most days

I've just fixed that for you o_O

Personally I feel that the free entry to the park is now irrelevant considering they now have the season pass where you pay for the day and comeback for the rest of the season for free*

*Excessive parking charges applies with each visit o_O

At the park today. It's great to see the park so busy, not great for rides but I've got a pass anyway. I do find it satisfying and amusing though using the SRQ for the smiler and queueing 5 mins when the main queue is 90

It’s not very often I feel guilty about stuff but the host running smiler merge today. Alternating between rap and fastrack while the main q just had to wait.
Usually it’s main q let in. Then a few FT then two groups of rap

This is how Towers do things - let some poor host on the merge-point [earning little over the minimum wage] take all the hassle while the management [earning significantly more] just "observe operations" via radio from the comfort of their office.

It was always a standing joke at Towers that you'd never see a manager around unless there was a serious break-down - and even then it helped if it was not raining too. The managers were masters in the trade of delegating tasks to team leaders.

I remember when Nemesis had over a week of downtime due to a structural fault on the foundation of support C-37L (the one at the bottom of the steps in the queue by the blood river, just before you go over the bridge by the vertical loop). All the ride hosts were kept on for the duration of the closure to do cleaning tasks. Each day at 4pm a certain manager, who I will not name, would appear to do their inspection. It was like a scene out of "Bad Lads Army", or similar. Manager would all but have white gloves on and be looking for the tiniest speck of dust, whilst a team leader was following them round noting all the issues that had to be put right before the next days inspection. It was laughable.

They complained about things like rust on the queueline fences (err, exposed untreated metal does tend to rust). Dust on the floor of the brake-run (err, the metal brake pads will emit dust as they stop the trains). Water seeping through the stone wall in the queueline before the first drop (err, this was underground before the ride was built, so not a lot you can do about nature!) I could go on, but it just gets more laughable! This was in the Tussauds days, so long before the Merlin rot set in.

Of course, if it were Merlin those staff would be sat at home to save on wages. Paying staff to clean rides? Pah!

Yep. I remember back in - must have been 2002 / 2003 as a guess - when they used to have 5 Fireworks shows. On the first fireworks weekend, the park got closed on the Sunday due to high winds & torrential rain. Most of the park ride staff had been sent home by lunchtime & we all got paid until 8pm as the management then deemed it unfair to not pay us most of what we had expected to earn. (Would have been a 9pm ride close, so we lost about an hour and a half's pay).

So just a little theory now we have the letter M from oblivion
The SCREAM challenge
Challenge to ride nemesis, Rita, smiler, galactica and oblivion plus visit the dungeons in one day.
Could be something completely unrelated but that’s all their major thrill rides plus they need numbers for the dungeons.
