Very interesting; definitely confirms that something is happening in Cloud Cuckoo Land for 2020. That teaser certainly does bring up a few questions, and I'd argue that those crates at the bottom may be some form of easter egg hinting at what theme we can expect. For some reference, here's what the teaser fences in Old McDonald's Farmyard looked like in 2013 before CBeebies Land was announced:
https://towersstreet.com/news/2013/october-2013-news-round-up/#

Notice the CBeebies blobs in the background of the image; a definite hint towards that IP! I'm not sure of any children's IPs that use crates, though... could it be an original theme?

Another question I'd like to ask is; are we expecting any new ride hardware in the area? As it is a medium year by Merlin's new CAPEX cycle (peak, low, medium, low; WM was a peak in 2018, ATD and Peter Rabbit was a low in 2019, so this should be a medium.), I'd imagine we'll at least see something new.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just some build a bear workshop like the stores you get in shopping centres lol

I agree with most of that but why have an air race when Drayton Manor in the same county has one?
People get obsessed with this kind of stuff. Take a step back... How many different rides are there when you think about it? So many are a variation on a theme.

They've both had swinging ships. They've both towboat rides. They've both had 4D cinemas. They've both had Enterprises etc etc etc.

I'm not sure if an Air Race would be very family-friendly... I found the one at Drayton Manor quite nauseating.

I found the same problem when going on the air races at Drayton Manor and Dreamland which would certainly cause problems if you try marketing the ride as 'family friendly'. The Gerstlauer variant at Blackpool allows you to control the spinning using flaps which solves the nausea problem but spinning 360 degrees is really difficult especially if you are light. If either of those rides are added at Alton Towers, it would need to be marketed as a thrill ride and I would not expect to see one in a rethemed Cloud Cuckoo Land.

‘Bear with us’ a clue perhaps?

Paddington Bear?

Bear with us is infact the correct Queen's English way of saying 'Bare with us'. So I don't think that gives away much. The key word in that Marketing material on the URL link on AT's website is 'experiences', suggesting that there will be more than one new attraction, or 'experience', and even the phrase makes me think at least one of the new attractions will be walk through based in the House of Monsters building. I'm very skeptical that this re-theme will include any new ride hardware at all. Or it could just be me reading into it too mucho_O

I'm more intrigued by "unpacking", personally; lots of references to things to do with crates and unpacking. A potential hint towards a theme?

I know it’s the correct spelling, it just strikes me as being worded that way on purpose as opposed to them just using that phrase.

They would ordinarily go for something like ‘Pardon our mess’, ‘A million apologies’, or just ‘new attraction coming 2020’ etc.

Bears and unpacking seems like a hint to me.

So lemme get this straight. When I suggested Space Jam Land I got crucified, but people are perfectly happy with... David Walliams Land?

I love how well it fits into the current line-up.

DARK FOREST
KATANGA CANYON
FORBIDDEN VALLEY
DAVID WALLIAMS LAND

In fact why not rename all the areas for uniformity? Change Forbidden Valley to Les Dennis World, who cares.

I will calm down eventually but as it stands I am seething at this outrageous double standard. Absolutely frothing at the mouth with rage
