Energylandia (Poland): New Coasters

Energylandia are still finding their feet as a theme park. 70% of it is tacky and worn down theming or travelling fair ground theming. Hyperion is the main exception this far.

With regards to the opening date, it wouldn't surprise me if they get it open sooner than later. It seems to have flown up even if it did fall over way through construction.

It's odd how they've put a lot of effort into the entrance theme to not have a single piece of themeing on the ride. I guess that's normal for this park?

In fairness, only a few parks put theming in beyond a station / entrance in the grand scheme of things.

I’ve taken advantage of cheap WizzAir flights and booked a trip covering both Energylandia and Legendia in October. 5 days covering everything apart from spending money has come to just over £200. I couldn’t do a trip in the UK for less than that.

It's costing me around £160 to do Blackpool this month lmao.

You can't argue with those numbers, can you?
Very reasonable. I did look at doing it as cheap as possible, even researching the hostel TPWW stayed at, but for £2 extra a night you can stay at the Ibis and not have to share your toilet with anyone!

I plan to do a day each at both parks with a “spare day” if needed. If it’s not I’ll visit Auschwitz.

You don't need a full day at Legendia. We flew out on the Saturday morning, drove straight there and arrived around 1pm. Wrapped up by 8pm with everything done and drove to Krakow afterwards. Energylandia will require a full day, particularly if the opening hours are shorter (more to do there but less generous than Legendia's opening hours which is bizarre).

I will be flying to and from Katowice. So will be basing myself there and taking the shuttle bus the Energylandia. If a second day is needed I can go back the following day. I’m not sure on a Friday in October what the crowd levels will be like (or even if it’s fully open!?! I’m hoping it is!)

European RMC's are like busses.

You wait forever for one then two turn up at once...

Don't see it beating Wildfire but it should run it very close. You can't beat the scenery around Wildfire. It's just stunning and makes the ride even more amazing.

I have every confidence Zadra can beat Wildfire on pacing, particularly when it comes to Wildfire somewhat struggling to find its way back to the station.

I’m unsure on whether good old Auntie Sandra will beat Untamed in terms of airtime, because that is just an absolute machine! However, in terms of shear scale it looks to beat it hands down, the ride is simply huge. Made to look even bigger by the totally flat surrounding landscape! It also features a large number of unique looking elements as well as that colossal looking stall!

That being said, having now finally ridden an RMC, I fully appreciate that airtime and forces come from the strangest of places on these rides, so I’ll happily be proven wrong! But personally I really do think it looks stunning and can’t wait to try it :D

The park have confirmed opening date as Thursday 22nd at 2pm.
