Anything Radioactive Topic

If any of your friends, colleagues and family are still struggling to understand how an RBMK reactor explodes after watching Chernobyl, send them this.

Don't forget the alt-text, which is arguably better:

You know when you can't hear your speakers, and you keep turning various volume controls up higher and higher in confusion, and then someone hits the mute button and there's a deafening blast of sound? That's basically what happened at Chernobyl.

Apparently it's no less radioactive then normal product due to the way that they make it...

Just don't take it near detectors in hospitals.

Just seen a brilliant documentary on Netflix called "Command and Control".

It's about that time those crazy yanks allowed a dropped spanner to cause a Titan II missile to explode in it's silo, sending the thermonuclear wardhead flying out. Of course, the poor sods who risked (and in some cases gave) their lives to prevent things getting much, much worse got the official blame.

Well worth 90 minutes of your time.

Just when you think a youtuber called Scott MANLEY cannot get any more epic...

I want to light a cig on a nuke now.
