The World of David Walliams: General Discussion

Can somebody summarise these rumours without me having to sit through twenty minutes of this vlogger?
It's just speculation, based on the fact that the signs in the park say "Please bear with us whilst we unpack new experiences for 2020". Paddington also stowed away in a shipping crate from Peru, so I guess it kinda fits, but it's pure guesswork IMHO.

Yep, I think it's a bit of a stretch to say that it's likely to be PB based only on that evidence!

I think you might be right. As well as 'bear', the use of the term 'unpack' is too specific, and it deviates from the usual Alton/Merlin language in regards to refurbishment.

Also, Paddington is a big, but probably relatively affordable and very British IP currently being shopped around by it's licensee. In short..

It all sounded pretty quiet on Saturday, who knows what is or is not going on inside the buildings though.

Saturday was also the first time this season that I have been in to Cloud Cuckoo Land. What a depressing place it has become.

Next year, the carousel and frog hopper will be down on the front of the grass near Dungeons and the driving school will be relocated to another area of the park and the entire area will be shut. No need to theme an area when it isn't open.

Although that is not going to happen, it would be a lot less depressing than having the area open as it is now.

Surely the only sound you will hear will be the noise of a hair dryer. as they stick down those vinyls,

My money is on. Bear Grylls upcharge with archery, climbing wall etc. in there. As enticing an option as the Dungeon. On a positive note, nothing the new ownership would be scared to rip out in a couple of years, when they conclude the area is a wasted opportunity that should do something with.

There’s definitely work going on as when we visited on Thursday there were big tyre marks going from where twirling toadstall lies and the HOM building. We also saw some maintenance guys go in with blue paint.
