Twinlakes Park

Saw some photos today and the building next to the entrance has gone completely, it had toilets downstairs and offices, etc upstairs.

The entrance remains though. This would be the perfect opportunity to get a brand new entrance, as I do think it looks awful with those big metal gates making it look more like a prison than a theme park. It’s always looked outdated and hasn’t really changed from its old farm days.

Visited Xtreme Scream for a second consecutive year tonight. One new attraction - a circus (part of the park line-up) given a horror overlay. It was decent but really nothing special compared with acrobatics shows elsewhere. It makes the whole experience a little more rounded though (there's also a bar, live music and two rides open).

In terms of mazes almost nothing had changed, but considering the build quality and overall experience of these attractions I'm not complaining about that. All five mazes are excellently themed and really, really long.

I don't doubt that this remains the best scare attraction in the UK. Highly recommended once again.

 Xtreme Scream the best scare park in the entire UK
Ash Hell undoubtedly the top attraction there with the best actors :hearteyecat:

Interesting that you think that, although I rate all the mazes very highly I've considered Ash Hell to be the weakest on both my visits.

The Village is the strongest maze for me.

I'm probably a bit biased :D there were a fair few actors off sick yesterday (including me)
tis way Ash was pants :p

Village always starts strong but then for me meanders into nothing

Ive not had a day off to visit as a guest this year but hear the Circus just doesn't really fit into the overall park theme, a general circus with the acts dressed in horror gear.

Hoping for next year they add an extra new maze and stop brining in the animatronics to replace actors :(

I do agree that the circus act doesn't quite fit and you can tell it's pretty much the same performance they've been doing in the daytime all summer (at least I assume it is)... that'd be fine if it was an extra and wasn't effectively acting as a replacement for the Curtains maze.
