The pullout in today’s sun has the season pass offer like last year’s. If you buy a season pass using the sun free tickets, it’ll cost £26 compared to last years £25.

You can also get entry to the dungeon for £5 with the free tickets.

The code for 40% off short breaks is SUN19.

Alton Towers will be offering half price entry to guests with special names for TWO days this month.

Guests called Molly (Molea, Moleah, Molee, Molei, Moleigh, Moley, Moli, Molie, Mollea, Molleah, Mollee, Mollei, Molleigh, Molley, Molli, Mollie) or Lee (Lee, Leigh, Lea, Leah, Lei, Ley) will be allowed to visit for half-price.

Those with any of the aforementioned names can gain access to the Midlands theme park for a reduce rate as part of the Staffordshire Day celebrations later this month.

On Saturday April 27 and Sunday April 28, Alton Towers will honour the discount to anyone who arrives at admissions with valid ID proving that they share a name with Molly Leigh, the infamous ‘witch’ of Burslem, Staffordshire, who stars in the new Alton Towers Dungeon.

To claim half-price entrance to the theme park on Saturday April 27 and Sunday April 28, guests must bring along photo ID, with their full name, to the Ticket Sales and Collection point and quote ‘Molly Leigh’.

Please be aware that Sunday 28th April could also be non alcohol day

Or what Towers prefer to call a "Family friendly day as we are expecting high numbers of guests"...

This translates to a "Traveller day". Expect airport style security on the entrance, police patrolling the park and a notable number of the travelling community present.

I also bet the sickness level for staff rota'd to be on the Resort Box Office / Guest Services on this day is sky-high too.

The Resort Box Office is never quiet (& always under-staffed). But on this day you just know you are going to have complaint after complaint, after complaint. You have to be uber-PC and certainly cannot comment on the enhanced security / police presence / no alcohol - other than "we expected it to be a busy day so took these steps to ensure a family friendly environment" - which you know is complete tosh.

I wonder if this would do

Couple of offers on the go at the moment.

If you buy a season pass before 1st September you get a free one shot fastrack worth up to £10.

£8pp waterpark tickets offer back for another week if you take a rubber duck with you.

Towers recently posted where you can currently get deals for towers tickets:
- Seabrook crisps
- Carex
- Mug Shot
- Cadbury’s
- Kellogg’s

One thing I don’t get about the Merlin monthly membership is that it’s actually cheaper than paying for the pass up front in a lump sum! This is almost unheard of. Paying for things monthly is always more expensive. Not that i’m complaining, just pointing it out.
