Hyde Park Winter Wonderland 2019

I really hope Munich Looping returns to the event this year; there was a rumour that it was only a 3 year deal, but I would quite like to visit Winter Wonderland one year and ride it, even if only for its historical significance!

I’ve never queued for more than 5-10 mins for Olympia, even at busy weekend times

Not too bothered about queues, more about masses of people and not being able to move

No Circus Circus it seems

And once again kids, remember Olympia Looping is the same price as a pint and a sausage - choose wisely.

@Lneeno

As long as you get there early enough you'll be fine. After 6pm will most likely be one in one out on that Saturday, it's carnage.

Maybe I’ll try the Sunday then, we’d like to experience it at night but I can’t be doing with it if it’s completely rammed

Wrap up warm. Whilst the view from the top of Hangover is stunning the chill from the wind at night is horiffic.

Doubt I will ever visit this event being from the North. When you factor in the train cost, hotel and cost per attraction......I'd be better off flying out to a proper theme park abroad to experience their xmas offering.

We complain that we live in Rip Off Britain but then thousands flock to these events and pay WAY over the top prices for food, drink and of course the rides. This is why we get ripped off guys. ;)

If I wanted to do say 8/9 rides and grab some food and beers you're looking at £100 just on the day. It's obscene. I can fly to Germany and go to Phansialand for a few days for what it would cost me for my trip to London.
