That would be a very expensive solution for the occasional busy day. I imagine they would raise parking charges as well to cover maintenance of the structure

I'm sure after charging for paring for the last 10-15 years there is plenty of money to be able to afford to at least improve the grass car parks so they have permanent grip areas (the park hire boarding to go down most years) and to try to improve the drainage so they are usable in wet weather.
Adding a single storey parking deck will be more expensive, but would be needed if they ever decide to use the back car park between the golf and Air for any form of expansion.

Whilst they've got their wallets open, perhaps they should connect up Elon Musk's 800 mph underground maglev, vacuum tube hyperloop that can take you anywhere in the mainland USA for one dollar (though I'm a LITTLE skeptical about this... See Thunderf00ts excellent YouTube debunking channel).

Oh and by the way logflumesdennis. I agree that an 800mph, underground, maglev, vacuum tube log flume would be even better, but not even Musk has thought of that one).

Any thoughs on what will happen to the dungeon after a few years? I think it's an excellent addition but seeing the way sub terra (one of my favourite rides at the time) ended up, i worry it won't last that long :( hope i'm wrong!

Staff costs are high, I don't think it will last any longer than five years. Also there is already a Dungeon at Blackpool, London and Warwick Castle so plenty of other similar options.

@jon81uk I think there's one in York too so still plenty of options for people to choose from if it does go.
I think the Blackpool tower one is much better anyways

According to bosses of the rescue group, the little birds were found swimming around without their mother in the outdoor pool at the hotel
What outdoor pool would that be?

So friggin stupid that this should be in the Surreal news articles thread.

I obviously haven't read this and have no intention of clicking but could someone enlighten me as to whether they have deemed this swimming pool unsafe and closed for further investigation for the safety of the guests?
